I bought a bunch of different primers and have been experimenting with them. Several of them--and most of the ones I've purchased in the past--could basically be considered foundation, all by themselves. If you want coverage and SPF, this is NOT what you want. This is a liquid. It's invisible when it dries. I put 2-3 drops on my fingers, then spread on my face. Sometimes I use a sponge or foundation brush to spread it out, but fingers work just fine. I've been using an IT "glow" foundation on top of this. It's light coverage but I like how it blends, and covers minor issues I have with redness. (Sometimes, I'll use an IT concealer under my eyes but it's easy to use too much and end up with product settling into fine lines, making it look worse.) I have some high SPF "primers" that I'll probably use as foundation in the summer but I might still use this underneath to create a surface that lets me spread the thicker primer easily. Read more
