I got this as I’m now working from home and like to work off my iPad while sitting in my recliner. My job involves a lot of writing and I simply can’t hunt-and-peck type very long on the iPad’s screen and needed a mechanical keyboard. This one got good reviews and was well priced so I gave it a shot and glad I did. I got the “brown” key version and the light effort and level of “click” is just about perfect for normal typing. I like the compact form, and despite not having everything the larger keyboards have it has all the basic functions I need. It was super simple to setup and use, and it paired immediately and worked perfectly with my iPad right out of the box — it even came charged. In short, it’s absolutely everything I was looking for and I’m very happy thus far. My only nits to pick are that although the keyboard overall seems well built it’s a bit lightweight, but the rubber feet on the bottom keep it stuck well so that’s not really an issue and less weight makes it a little easier to travel with. And the lights — I know this is billed as a gaming keyboard so I get it, but they’re just annoying and although they can easily be turned off the default is for them to be on so I need to deactivate them every time I turn the keyboard on. Other than that’s it’s nigh on perfect for my needs and would highly recommend it for anyone looking for a mechanical keyboard. Read more

Got this for a compact setup, and I think I'm in love. My usual mechanical keyboards come from Corsair, but man, I think I might be switching over after this. It feels great to type on, nice and compact without a bunch of fluff like a built in wrist rest or macro keys I'll never use. The keys are both tactile yet quiet. Bluetooth connects pretty much as soon as the PC boots. Very impressed overall, I look forward to buying more from Keychron. Read more
