I purchased this in medium and it is just right for my skin tone. It does a great job of setting my foundation and does not feel heavy. I like that it seems more subtle than compressed powders. I have just recently started wearing make up again (except for eyeliner and mascara) so I cannot compare this to other loose powders on the market but it seems a lot lighter than loose powders I have used in the past. As another reviewer has noted, I do not like how the powder comes up through the sifter holes but does not really go back down. I too am having to deal with too much powder on my brush with each dip that I have to tap off and try to not make a mess. (I don't know if it still exists in other current brands, but there used to be a powder that had a "floating" screen that sat on top of the powder, not attached to the container, and when you tapped your brush on it it released a "just right" amount of powder. All loose powders need that kind of dispenser screen thing, imo.) But, because I like the way this powder looks and feels I am willing to put up with that small negative and I would definitely buy this again. Read more
