The pump is rather loud at times, and the 4 pin molex is iffy, which causes disconnects. The other 12v power is required for sufficient power reliability. The wire going into the bottom of the pump is brittle, and will break. The first pump I received was DOA because the wire was broken, and not fixable. The reservoir is decent, does its job but is nothing special. However, the pump is now dead after 3 months and the seller, Tangxi, keeps saying it's a weekend that they will take care of me after. Great starter pump for a water cooling kit, set up my entire loop for less than $160. Noise level is quite noticeable, sounds like a fluorescent light fixture, but for the price it's not really something I can complain about; At least with a custom loop I can upgrade it later. Read more

That can turn around after installed. Works very quiet depends of the rpm set by the bios, However that's quiet. I recommend this product. UPDATE: August 30th 2023, water pump is the same as before, avoid closing the extra hole on top so your water pump will die, don't hold the water pump from the bottom, leave the motor on air, to avoid noise. Using this for a 3090 water block w/water backplate loop. For ease of maintenance I wanted my gpu on its own loop separate from the cpu. The pump is more than capable with my waterblocks, a single 420x65 rad (Thermaltake not sure of internal design), x2pcs 20" 3/8ID hoses, x6pcs 45 and x1pcs 90 degree fittings. I use a manual voltage controller set to 4400RPM (not sure of display accuracy but it keeps large bubbles from getting pack into my line and quiet). Controller max RPM stated 4840 +- 40 and stops pumping around 2200rpm. This kit is great. It works very well, comes with a 3 hole res and mounting hardware. I will continue to use these for future serial/parallel applications since they're effective in both cost and function. Read more
