the standard forks on the Aventon Adventure is just awful. once you add any weight to the bike it just bottoms out at the slightest bump. I got this because i can adjust the air and the rebound. it was well worth the time and $$. it has made a HUGE improvement to my e-bike. The Aventon Adventure is a heavy bike to begin with; i added the front rack, 2 saddle bags, cell phone and Bluetooth speaker so the OEM fork just will not cut it. Fast shipping and delivery too. the only issue is the fender; it is a through hole with no threads so you'll need a new bolt and nut to attach it to the fork; all other mounts are the same, so i didn't have any issues; took me about 30 min to test drive it!. So far so good! Using on a fat tire AWD ebike with a front hub. After attempting to find a "high quality" front fork that would work with my front hub motor, I ended up settling in this. Pros: fits fat tire bikes with traditional or QR wheels. Remote lock out works great! Air suspension seems to work well. Cons: it does 'flex" on hard stops! I little worrisome, but I'll live with it till I find a high quality fork that will fit my needs. So, it hasn't broke yet! LOL! 70lbs bike that I did some mild single track with and lots of groomed city trails (aka: asphalt), it wi suit my needs until the right upgrade comes along. So far, Id highly recommend if you are like me and can't find a solution. This solution will work till a better brand shows it's face! Read more

I found a Motobecane Boris X5 bike on FB marketplace for 400 bucks. I upgraded/added a few parts for another 150 bucks and added this fork for another 140 bucks. I absolutely love this fork and it fit the bike perfectly. It does come with a star nut and a new lower bearing race if you need that but I just used the old bearing race. I used a star nut installer tool to install the star nut. I also used a pipe cutting tool to remove about 3/8" of the head stem so I could mount the handlebars a bit lower. The fork appears to be well made. Once you remove all of the stickers you would swear it is a rock shox bluto. Went for a 20 mile ride this morning and was pleasantly surprised it felt solid and well made. I do not forsee any problems with it in the future. It came with 80psi air pressure in the shock. I would definitely buy this again if I come across another fat tire bike I want to purchase. Read more
