So, subjectively, I do like the effect of this. The burning situation "burns" me back into reality if my "mania" (never been diagnosed) goes off-kilter. But if one's metabolic justification for micro-dosing lithium is to inhibit GSK3-beta via lithium's competition with magnesium for absorption, then it might make more sense to take lithium drops that do not also have magnesium. As a matter of fact, this particular product has two-hundred times more magnesium than lithium (in mg). On that note, I found myself taking quite a lot of this, feeling at first like it was working to "stabilize" me, and then feeling like I needed to take even more; whereas, with lithium orotate pills (say 5 mg), I could take one pill and be fine for a few days. As the ingredients say, it includes ionic salt walter which in it of itself is very bitter tasting and overly salty. Other than that the desired effects of the lithium chloride are as expected and very potent. Would highly recommned mixing it into a juice of 16oz drink of choice as the bitter salty taste is very noticeable even mixed in that.Switched from a different brand just for the price, only drawback was the taste which is tolerable depending on you palate. It was hard for me to decide if I wanted to give this 4 or 5 stars, but I ultimately decided to give 5 stars because I bought this for effectiveness and not for taste. My psychiatrist recommended trying lithium supplements over prescription lithium because it has less side effects. My basic understanding is that whatever the lithium is bound to can cause major side effects. I decided to buy this because it appears to be one of the purest forms available. I also bought this because I can control the dose very specifically because it’s a liquid and also in a marked dropper. I can literally decide if I want to take a full dose, half dose, quarter dose, all the way down to one drop, if I want. I noticed in the first few days that I feel sleepy taking this, so I take it at night and I do feel better. I have ADHD and PTSD with anxiety and depression and I’m noticing that I’m able to focus more and have more energy.
