I own a all clad D3 frying pan and was looking to change all my other pans to stainless steel. The price of other pans was just too much to justify. These pans are a three ply plate with regular sides. They heat, sear, and clean well. I know that doing pastry or sauces may be harder with this style construction but for everyday cooking this is a great set for the price. They can be washed in the dish washer and if you get spotting good old bar keeps friend can take out the leftover. Also, the fact that it is three pans with individual lids was really appealing.
