No matter how old it is now, there are not many equal zoom lenses out there. This lens can only be improved by making it 24-105mm, f1.8, or stabilized. The build quality is not the best I found in Lumis S Pro because I own the 70-200mm f2.8 feels stronger and compact, maybe because it is not an internal zoom and has more assembling parts. It is expensive but it deserves every penny. The chromatic aberrations management is even better than the lens kit 20-60mm which is very good. I tested Sigma 24-70 f2.8 #I and the lower price and better build quality didn't convince me. That is a good lens but this is 20% more sharpened in the middle and 50% more sharpened in corners, parfocal, less aberration, less distortion, and fast autofocus.
