I've been using the g502 Hero SE for a few months now and I can honestly say that I'm very happy with it. Looks-wise, it is as shown in the pictures and doesn't tend to get too dirty despite the white sections, and it's relatively easy to clean as the side buttons have a bit of wiggle room. The software is very handy, though I have noticed I need to have it on at all times to use all the features like switching profiles automatically depending on game, which isn't an issue in my current setup. It's easy to use and let's you do everything you'd expect from rebinding every button, to changing the RGB lights to setting up macros, and to automatically switch profiles based on game. This took a little bit of fiddling around but was not an issue. The mouse is comfortable to use, the shape is fairly ergonomic. I have slightly smaller hands and use the claw grip mostly, though I have tried the palm grip which also feels okay, however I feel like the mouse might be slightly larger than ideal, but this may be because the last mouse I had for 9 years was much smaller. The positioning of the top buttons is perfect, and I don't tend to misclick. The position of the side buttons is slightly disappointing, since they are basically put in a line which, for me, can be pretty uncomfortable especially when playing DotA 2 where i have to frequently use all 3. Maybe this wouldn't be an issue if my hands were larger, but I would prefer for the "precision" button to be located further back and directly underneath the first button. One last comment is about the scroll wheel, when locked down into the "regular scrolling" mode it feels very mechanical, which is a nice change, though it can be relatively loud. The smooth scrolling takes some getting used to in order to not accidentally scroll up or down when doing anything else, but is near silent. I very much enjoy messing around with both modes as a fidget toy during downtime. The build quality is relatively high quality, the materials used are comfortable and feel durable but the cable itself feels very thin, though braided so I doubt it's going to be an issue. The extra weights are a nice touch, though personally I find the difference to be relatively small and would prefer if they were heavier. They are easy to install but slightly harder to remove. The case is very nice. Overall I would rate this mouse very highly for gaming, it has fulfilled all my needs and comes with some extra perks that a simple £5 mouse would not through extra buttons and good software. Ich kann sie mit der Logitech G HUB Software individuell belegen und so meine Lieblingsfunktionen oder Makros ausführen. Die Tasten haben einen guten Druckpunkt und sind gut erreichbar. Die Scrollrad-Taste hat zwei Modi: einen gerasterten für präzises Scrollen und einen freien für schnelles Scrollen. Zudem gefällt mir das Gewichtstuning-System sehr gut. Ich kann die Maus mit fünf Gewichten von je 3,6 g schwerer oder leichter machen, je nachdem wie ich es bevorzuge. Die Maus liegt dadurch sehr gut in der Hand und passt sich meiner Griffweise an. Schließlich finde ich die RGB-Beleuchtung sehr schön. Ich kann aus vielen Farben wählen und verschiedene Effekte einstellen. This thing is simply the best mouse for an affordable price, that money can buy. You can usually get this guy for $50 when its on sale, and boy is that a deal. The G502 HERO has the fancy-dancy HERO sensor, which is, I think, the best sensor that they sell. The mouse is very ergonomic, though it took me some getting used to. If you download the logitech software, you can customize each and every button to do different things, it has virtually revolutionized my browsing experience by binding "next tab" and "previous tab" to two separate buttons. It has good DPI control, and you can even modify the weights in the bottom of the mouse to bring the center of gravity further back or further up on the mouse! HOW COOL IS THAT? Only downside, is that after 14 months of constant use, the rightclick button no-longer holds down properly. But for $50, I cannot complain. Though, I would recommend buying the 4 year warranty. This versus the razor, this has cheaper plastic, a stiffer cord, and a slightly less ergonomical. That said it has more shortcut buttons, is still quite ergonomical, and the laser seems to be a better quality giving a smoother mouse experience. I played first person shooters better with this mouse. It felt more intuitive where the razor always felt like my hand wasn't quite in the position I wanted it to be in when aiming. The razor does have a very nice cord and I love that, but one of the buttons broke also, maybe that's a one-off. It also felt very nice in the hand and the plastic was better quality. Not to say that this is poor plastic quality but it does feel cheaper, although not where it counts, in the laser. Also the rubber feet / skates on this mouse glide a lot better. Get this if you want a good gaming mouse, or lots of hot keys. Get the razor if you want comfort and hand feel. Although both Mouses will satisfy both people likely. Read more

Product was as described. It is a bit annoying to assign functions and dpi for this mouse as G502 HERO uses a newer software version called "GHub". My previous mouse was G502 rgb and the software which I used to assign buttons was very user friendly and easy to use. Both G502 rgb and G502 hero are essentially the same mouse with just a slight difference in sensitivity (hero version having a higher dpi limit) otherwise everything else feels the same.
