800gの珈琲生豆を保存するために購入。 この下のサイズであるMサイズは珈琲豆500g用とのことだったのでエクストララージサイズにしたが、写真の通りかなりスペースに余裕があるので、Mサイズでも良いような気がする。焙煎豆500gであれば焙煎による重量減を考慮すれば生豆は600gまで対応となると思うが、どうだろうか。価格はエクストララージとMとで\1,000程度しか変わらないが、場所の都合でMで収まるならMとしたい。試しに豆の買い足しをする際にMサイズを購入してみようかと思う。 保存方法としては内蓋を押し下げ圧縮(逆流防止弁がついている)、パッキン付き外蓋をして完了。ジップロックの嵌め合わせが余り好きではないので、こちらの方式の方が気を遣わないので好み。開ける際も一気には開けられないものの、大して力を入れずに内蓋を取ることができる。 外蓋と内蓋の間に隙間ができるので、そこに豆のラベル等を置いて置くことが可能で、何をいつ保管したかのメモ置きに丁度良い。 Read more

Seal works well, but there's a contradiction in sizes described. It says "holds 1 kg = 2.2 lb" ... but I added 1 kg only to find that it holds nearly 5 times that! So buyer beware: 160 oz = 10.43 lb. = 4.73 kg of coffee. Luckily the seal works well, and I'd rather it be too big than too small. Read more
