AFTER 1 YEAR AND A HALF OF USE: First of all, the build, sound, and microphone quality are all decent, however the headset clamps way to hard on the ears making them incredibly uncomfortable to wear for more than 2 hours. Then the worst part - the headset suddenly stopped working while I was just sitting at my desk. The USB dongle stopped working and no longer connects to any device, and there is no fix for it. My product was under warranty, however Logitech conveniently does not accept to make returns to products not purchased from their websites, so now I'm dead in the water. Build quality is excellent and I am really glad it doesn't look too gamery and gaudy. Very professional and classy looking while the retro cables are a nice touch. They provide both pleather and velour ear cups along with a carry case in the pouch which makes the slightly high price easily tolerable. Before I start on the sound quality, I have to speak about the mic. Clearly the magic is in the BlueVo!ce software so do keep this in mind if you plan to use this in console. Without it, it sounds like a regular cheap mic but with the software and the tweaks, you can make yourself sound like a commentator or an AM radio host. It picks up your voice nice though it lacks a bit of bass. The sound quality is pretty good and the surround sound might sound like a gimmick but it actually works in games like CS where you can hear opponents who are behind you. Almost feels like cheating.
