The Wsky Rechargeable Camping Lantern Flashlight is exactly what I wanted as an emergency lantern to have around when the power goes out. I am very impressed with the overall build quality, durability, battery life, and most importantly as a lantern--the useful light output. High and low output levels for both the front flash light/spot light mode and the lantern mode are really nice and have a very useful range. And the solid red and flashing red lantern mode could be very useful as a warning in an emergency. The red lantern glow might also be very handy at night to help maintain night vision (not being "blinded" by continuous bright light in a closed in situation as in a tent). It's very easy to cycle through the various modes. I haven't had to use it yet for a power outage, but it's great as a flood/spot/flash light. The long lasting re-chargeable battery sure beats constantly changing out dead batteries just when you need the light. And the power jack in the back is an extra plus during a power failure if you need to charge a dying cell phone just when you might need it the most. I am very satisfied with this purchase. Great little compact lantern

This lantern is pretty good. I like its small size, and it puts out a decent amount of light. The best feature for me is the fact that it is rechargable. I bought this mainly for the lantern function, but it is nice that I can also use this as a flashlight. It also has a red light lantern and a flashing red light that could come in handy in an emergency. The only thing I don't like about the red light lantern is that you first must cycle through high and low flashlight then high and low lantern before you can get red light. If you are trying to keep your night vision, you just killed it cycling through the other lights. I know, you can just shut your eyes and click 5 times, but sometimes I forget, okay? Another thing I appreciate is that you can lay it down and all the nubby stuff prevents it from rolling away or off a table. It seems to be pretty water resistent, but I haven't used it in any sort of bad weather yet, so I'm not really sure. Cant wait to go camping or fishing again! Read more

Wow! I don't even know where to begin... these are hands down the best lanterns I've ever used. I've been camping and fishing for over 50 years and have always used gas and propane lanterns and thought they were great. They weren't! These LED lanterns are amazing! Very bright, very compact and very useful. No heat so they are safe indoors. Being rechargeable and not needing batteries is an added bonus. Once I tried these lanterns, I gave away all my propane lanterns! I will never use a gas or propane lantern again. The spotlight feature is surprisingly bright. We lit up the tree line at night from 200 yards no problem. The bright/dim settings are also nice. Sometimes you don't need the full bright mode. I just can't say enough about them. I'd give them 10 stars if I could! Read more

I initially purchased one of these lights to have in case of a hurricane or blackouts. The light offers several lighting levels including a blinking red signal, a standard flashlight mode with a fold away handle, a hanging lantern mode, etc. It also features a long lasting battery and a port to recharge your cell phone or other electronic device. I was so impressed with this light that I purchased two more for myself and another for my daaughter. All four lights are working great. They came in quite handy during our last blackout. Read more
