I had alot of fun putting together this little house. There were a few things that got a little frustring. You definitely need patience when putting something this small together. If you take your time and pay close attention to the instructions You will love the end result. It's most definitely not for beginners. Keep in mind there are so many tiny pieces and you have to assemble EVERYTHING yourself. I didn't have any problems understanding the instructions. You do need to buy you own glue it doesnt come with any. I didn't have any missing or broken part. I think the price was fair. I cant wait to buy the purple house next. Read more

I have put together 2 book nooks and decided to try this little miniature house. The instructions are terrible. Well, really there aren't any instructions. It's more like photos of the parts of furniture. The other kits have steps for assembly and walk you through the process. This one was willy-nilly and pretty much "Good luck" to ya. Instead of the walls and floor being preprinted, you need to cut out the walls and floor patterns and glue them in place. You assemble the furniture piece by piece. You make the little cups, books, and planters from tiny beads, paper, and things. INSTRUCTIONS: The instruction booklet is in color. It's clear and easy to follow - although there is a lot to do! MUSIC BOX: I didn't realise this kit came with a music box, so that was a nice surprise. LIGHTING: The lighting in this kit is excellent - well designed. The wires and LEDs are easy to install and everything is well lit. QUALITY: Everything in the kit is good quality. It's a great kit those wanting to learn how to make tiny things. The use of beads, paper, bits of material and other tiny stuff is imaginative. Miniature enthusiasts will love this. TIPS: * Have a miniatures tool kit, mine includes: magnifying glass, precision tweezer set, mini ruler, sandpaper blocks, sharp thin bladed paper scissors, embroidery scissors, strong jaw nippers, exacto knife, needlenose pliers, B-7000 glue, white paper glue, and acrylic paint pens. * The glue that comes with this kit is white school glue. It's ok for the paper stuff but doesn't dry very fast. Arm yourself with a faster drying paper safe glue for the paper stuff and B-7000 glue for other stuff. * My embroidery scissors really came in handy for this kit. * I use a pair of good quality nail art tweezers for stuff like this. * Cut flooring and walls with sharp precision scissors and a magnifying glass * Take only the parts you need for the step you're working on out of the bags. The parts are tiny and easy to lose. OVERALL: This is a fun project to do. There's lots of tiny stuff to assemble. I have a magnifying glass clipped on my desk that helps me cut and glue with more precision. Read more
