There is not much bad to say about a Warn winch! It fits perfectly on my winch plate and was super easy to install. Warn Takes the time to prewire the winch for the exception of the negative cable which is not an issue. It is well constructed, and the synthetic line is very nice! The remote functioned perfectly in both wired and wireless modes right out of the box. The only complaints I have about this winch, which are more nit-picky. First the positive cable that connects directly to the battery could stand to be just a little bit longer. I had to reroute a couple times to get the tension off it. Second the fairlead hardware should match the fairlead and not be galvanized. They provide you with a really nice black fairlead and galvanized hardware (nothing a little paint can't fix). I know there are more budget friendly options out on the market that are good but if you can afford the investment i would highly recommend picking this bad boy up! Read more

Installation difficulty depends on the bumper, and mine required taking the bumper off, installing the winch, making re-installation difficult because access was restricted by the size of the winch. In another case where the bumper has full access, it's just 4 bolts plus the rope guide. Wiring was easy. Read more
