I'm with the other reviewer that said bad reviews need to stop. I was in bad shape 2 years ago living with family that didn't like to run the AC and we live in AZ plus I'm in that age of hormone imbalance. I was so excited to see this and then read the reviews and continued suffering. Fast forward to 2020 and my AC went out. I have a mini dauchsund and it is really hard on her. I immediately said I don't want to be in this spot ever again I have to buy something. Again I am back looking at these reviews but this time focused on the good ones and thought I will return if I don't like it. To be clear my AC was fixed the next day but I decided to run it a little less cold so that it don't freeze up on me or go out again. I have it at 78 and my room has a lot of windows so it's either hot or cold and 78 is sometimes warm to me especially at night. Well around 3 pm I froze my filter and added ice and water to it. I wouldn't call it freezing but definitely a very cool breeze. I did seem to melt fairly quickly and then it wasn't as cold but in a while I still ended up turning it down from high to low as it was making my throat feel weird. For the night, I filled it up one more time with a ton of ice and water to the brim and ran it on high. I began to get cold and turned it down to low. When the Ice melts it does change to what I consider a swamp cooler feel. I can feel the moistness. I ended up turning it off for the night as I was too cold. Sometime in the night I was getting warmer and turned it back on low and ran until morning where I turned it off again. There is no ice and slight amount of water left but I'm very pleased with the help of my arctic air. I doubt this would function as an AC but if I'm ever without air I feel this would be a great help until it's back on again. I love it! Read more

No tiene control remoto pero por la noche luce linda la luz que tiene 3 intensidades. No enfría una habitación pero para trabajar en casa y tenerlo medianamente cerca, funciona bien. This little AC really does cool down a 'space'. I have it in my bedroom on a table beside the bed. It is great at this time of the year especially here in Nova Scotia where our Spring isn't always very warm , but still warm enough to need a bit of cool air. Enter this little AC! The only thing I would like people to know is that it cannot cool a whole room, for that we need our big window AC's. Before I got this one, I had the model before this one and I was happy with that as well, but couldn't find it this year so ordered the ultra and once again I am very happy with the way it works. Great for personal space. I purchased a few and placed them in different rooms in my apartment. Saved a lot on electricity bills. You can fill the compartment with water, ice cubes or my personal favourite is soaking the filter in water and putting it in the freezer for 30-40 minutes. The filters are easily cleaned by removing them from the filter frame and soaking them in water with a bit of clothes detergent. Allow to dry and replace. The air cooler plugs in to a USB outlet and can be taken anywhere. Read more
