It works!” The rest of my body was...not as neat, but my brain was chillin. Even my glasses somehow stayed on my face. Fit-wise, the XL hugs my head like my mother never did. The dual visor is perfect for Florida’s weather mood swings (from “stormy gloom” to “OH MY GOD THE SUN” in 0.3 seconds). Ventilation? Solid. Padding? Comfy. Modular mouthpiece? Perfect for yelling “I’M OKAY” to concerned bystanders. Quick-release strap? Maybe not the Fort Knox of safety features, but it held up when I turned into a bowling ball, so I’m not complaining. If you want NASA-grade protection, you’ll pay NASA prices. But if you’re like me, broke but still emotionally invested in having a skull, this helmet’s the move. Bought this to ride my electric scooter around town. There is fog that builds up when you're stopped, but the vents work effectively to clear the fog once you start moving again. The rear light is great at night when you need to be seen. The fit is comfortable, but may not work for some depending on the shape of your head, how much hair you have and the size. I measured within the "medium" size on the chart where it fits very snug, but some may need to go up one size. Edit: Oct 08,2023 - Had a terrible spill while riding with full gear on including this helmet. The rear LED light visor popped out and the plastic broke, there is visible damage on the helmet itself, but this is not me being critical of this helmet. This helmet saved my life. I didn't feel any negative impact when my helmet made contact with the concrete because the padding was thick enough to protect my head, and the outer shell of the helmet was strong enough to withstand the impact. The helmet fit fairly well. I find I have to push it down a bit in the front to position the visor correctly, but otherwise the fit is fine. Padded cheeks, feels secure. First test drive went well. Aerodynamics are decent. Wind sound is minimal compared to what I'm used to, so this is a big plus. I don't have to wear earplugs. View is wide enough. Visor is clear and fit night riding there is minimal glare, which is good. Sun visor is easy to operate and is sufficient for sunny riding. Rear light works great. Small button in middle of light has 3 functions plus off. Can be turned on when stopped or even riding by reaching behind. So far, everything works fine. We'll see over time how good it works and looks. The one negative for me is the bulkiness. My previous helmet was sleeker. The extra padding and inner sun visor means a bit more space needed.
