It's a perfectly passable player, for anyone looking for an inexpensive way to get into LPs. The built-in speakers do leave something to be desired, but they're pretty small so it should be expected they're not going to blow down the wall. But there are plenty of connectors to add better speakers, either by 3.5mm jack or RCA cables. It synced up just fine with my phone for Bluetooth, so it's nice to have a combination player I can keep in my office for my down time. For those struggling with speed: it's VERY important to calibrate these players for the LP you're using. For those struggling with the plate not moving: sometimes they come from the factory a little tight on the spindle - nothing a little grease can't fix for now - because they will eventually wear in as you use them. The metal spindle will lap into the plastic and you'll be right as rain. To calibrate: get a record of your desired size, put a small piece of sticky note to work as an indicator, and then play the record and count the rotations/minute. I advise PLAYING the record because the needle dragging will impact the speed and it's more accurate. Once you've figured out if you're slower/faster based on your record, open up the bottom (4 phillips head screws on the rubber feet) and look for the pictured circuit board (near the corner, by the speaker) You'll see 3 tiny (like micro sized) flathead screws, labeled 33T, 45T, and 78T - these are your speed controllers. Turn your needed controller clockwise to slow, counterclockwise to speed up. Give it a 1/8th turn in the needed direction and recheck with your LP/indicator. Es gibt drei schreckliche Probleme mit diesem Plattenspieler. Schlechte Tonqualitat und knisternder Ton. Es uberspringt haufig Teile der Schallplatte und wiederholt sich immer wieder. Ich habe viele Vinyl-Discs ausprobiert, daher liegt das Problem nicht an den Discs, sondern am Player.
