There are 5 fans yeah but due to power limitations on USB they aren't very fast and the fans are light weight low speed fans. Do add a bit of cooling and yeah temps are definitely lower. The price is slightly more than what it's worth It is surprisingly well made for what it is, not well polished around the edges but eh it's a basic cooler so not much is to be expected. The display only tells you the fan speed mode (1-6). Only the accent lights on the front turn off. The Fan lights turn on and off with the fans itself You can have either all, 4x small only or 1x large only on at a time which I guess is kinda useful? It does have height adjust but at the lowest height there isn't a lot of clearance so you might need to use it at the 1st level rather than 0 The laptop holder on the front is reasonably sized not too tall and in a good place so that's good. The accent lights next to that holder kinda glares into your eyes but good that they turn off by holding the " + " button It uses USB A to USB A to connect so the 2 USB ports on the back are only 1 for power and 1 spare which is a bit misleading, you can use a Type A to Type C as well which I consider good As the cable is removable and the main point of failure it will probably last a while.
