I tried to include all the important bits in the video, but so far, so good. I received these today as I've recently started drawing again. I found a review from another website giving their opinion on these specific pencils and I thought I'd give them a go. The reason I bought these specifically was for the shade range it offers with dark gradient lead. I want to gove my drawings more definition than the HB, 2B, and 4B I've been using. I haven't drawn anything with these yet except for what you see in the video, but I will try to update the review once I do. For the pencils themselves: The container I like, although the metal feels as if it could scuff or bend easily, still feels a decent weight. The pencils are smooth and are not too uncomfortable to hold. They seem to sharpen fairly easily. None of them broke any lead off into the sharpener. I think that you have quite a bit of options with this range even from only using a single one because you can press to go lighter or darker. I think that I'll be happy with the darker ranges to give definition to my drawings, but we will see. I think the price point is reflecting of the product. These pencils seem strongly made. Durable. I think it would be good for beginners or seasoned artists to have. I don't like how a kneaded eraser doesn't pick up much of it so it kind of makes me weary, but we will see how to hold up on sketchbook paper and not the lightweight printer paper I used in the video. I haven't tried any other types of erasers, so it may be different. Overall, so far, I'm happy with them. Read more

I have used these pencils before, so I am not reviewing the quality of this product. I love these pencils because I have used them before. So, they deserve (5) stars according to my point of view. On the other hand, I just received my pencils today in the following condition which was so disappointing to me: 1. They came in their original tin box, however, six pencil tips were broken. The tin box itself didn't look new to me. At the back, it has some sticky spots and is bent slightly inward in two different areas. Maybe it was stored for long time, or this happened during handling and packaging. I have no idea. 2. The catron box used to deliver the tin box of pencils was not a new one (Although it was wrapped with Amazon shipment wrapping which was intact) . The carton box looked as if it belonged to a returned item. There was a leftover of a torn label on it. It might sound ok for some people, but for me packing matters. All in all, I am not planning to return the pencils because as I said I do like the drawing quality of them. I just wanted to review my purchase experience from the seller who said in their profile that they are "committed to providing each customer with the highest standard of customer service. Read more

My 6pc include graphite grades HB, 2B, 4B, 6B, 7B and 8B, exactly the product I ordered. The tin case wasn't tape sealed, as it is when sold in stores, but all pencils look new and Staedtler originals. I have not tested them yet. Read more
