Le Beyerdynamic DT 990 PRO 80 Ohm mi hanno davvero conquistata per la loro capacità di trasformare ogni sessione di ascolto in un’esperienza immersiva. Come creativa, sono spesso alla ricerca di strumenti che mi permettano di lavorare con precisione e ispirazione, e queste cuffie rispondono a entrambe le esigenze in modo eccellente. ## Qualità sonora ## La prima cosa che ho notato indossandole è la scena sonora: ampia e incredibilmente dettagliata. Gli alti sono cristallini e brillanti, perfetti per cogliere le sfumature più sottili, mentre i bassi risultano presenti ma mai invasivi. I medi sono bilanciati, dando voce a ogni elemento senza soffocare gli altri. Questo equilibrio mi aiuta a mixare e produrre con sicurezza, poiché sento esattamente quello che serve senza enfatizzazioni inutili. ## Comfort ## Il comfort è un altro punto di forza. I padiglioni in velluto sono una coccola per le orecchie, anche dopo ore di utilizzo. Mi capita spesso di indossarle durante lunghe sessioni di lavoro, e mai una volta ho sentito il bisogno di toglierle per un fastidio. Anche l’archetto imbottito è ben progettato, distribuendo il peso in modo uniforme. ## Costruzione e design ## La qualità costruttiva è esemplare, come ci si aspetta da Beyerdynamic. Le cuffie sono robuste, con una struttura pensata per durare a lungo anche in un ambiente di lavoro intensivo. Il cavo a spirale è pratico e abbastanza lungo da non risultare mai un intralcio. ## DT 990 PRO per la produzione ## Le DT 990 PRO sono diventate il mio punto di riferimento per la produzione. Il design aperto regala una scena sonora ampia, fondamentale per cogliere ogni dettaglio e prendere decisioni accurate durante il mixaggio. Per me, sono ideali quando voglio lavorare su progetti che richiedono precisione e ispirazione creativa. ## Confronto con le DT 770 PRO 80 Ohm ## Ho anche le DT 770 PRO 80 Ohm, e nonostante siano anch’esse eccezionali, le utilizzo principalmente per scopi diversi. Le DT 770 PRO, con il loro design chiuso, offrono un isolamento acustico superiore. Questo le rende perfette per le sessioni di registrazione, dove è fondamentale ridurre al minimo le interferenze sonore esterne. La risposta sonora è altrettanto dettagliata, ma la scena è più "ristretta", un aspetto che non mi disturba in contesti di registrazione ma che preferisco evitare durante la produzione. Per la registrazione vocale o strumentale, le DT 770 PRO sono imbattibili: l’isolamento aiuta a concentrarsi e a monitorare con precisione senza distrazioni. Tuttavia, quando passo alla produzione, sento che le DT 990 PRO brillano di più grazie alla loro spazialità sonora. ## Conclusione ## Se dovessi scegliere, direi che le DT 990 PRO sono le mie preferite per la produzione, grazie al loro design aperto e alla scena sonora ampia. Ma non potrei mai rinunciare alle DT 770 PRO per la registrazione, dove l'isolamento è indispensabile. Lo primero de todo ¡¡Las almohadillas son muy cómodas, incluso con las gafas puestas!! No te clavan las patillas, presiona lo justo y el peso ni se nota. Llevo para trabajar o jugar en el PC, gafas por vista cansada y no había encontrado ninguna opinión, que hablara de esto. Así que aquí dejo la Mía!! Muy cómodos incluso con gafas!! Y tengo cabezón!! Sobre el sonido no diré mucho, porqué la opinión es algo subjetiva en este aspecto. Hay gente que le gustan unos bajos tuneados o exagerados, y a otros les gusta un sonido más natural o realista, independientemente del estilo de música. Y Quien tiene razón, cual es mejor? Diría que éstos auriculares son para la gente que sabe buscar el sonido que les gusta mediante un ecualizador. Para el que le guste los bajos tuneados o exagerados, me iría a por unos auriculares cerrados y de menos precio. Más teniendo en cuenta que el oído se acaba acostumbrando a lo que le demos, y aunque unos más baratos igual no tienen un sonido tan nítido, seguro que también es bueno y potente, dejando más satisfecho a l@s que busquen ese tipo de bajos exagerados. Yo aconsejo los 990 pro, si valoras la comodidad y la ligereza, para meterte sesiones maratonianas y no cansarte. El sonido también lo encuentro muy bueno, lleno de matices. J'ai prit ce casque pour utilisation sur mon PC fixe ( gaming / discord et vidéo) je voulais un casque ouvert car je ne supporte pas l'effet "sous l'eau" des casque fermé quand on parle , de plus chez moi c'est très calme donc aucune raison d'avoir une isolation sonore ( ça m'évite d'ailleurs de gueulé sans m'en rendre compte). J'ai prit le casque en 80ohm pour plusieurs raison le casque dans cette configuration à un tout petit plus de basse (ce que je préfère) certes au prix d'une légère perte dans les précisions des aigues mais honnêtement c'est du chipotage pour une utilisation gaming (le 250omh n'aurai jamais vraiment montré son plein potentielle). Ma carte mère dispose d'une petite puce qui fais "pré ampli" et peu faire tourné un casque de 80ohm facile cependant j'ai quand même du augmenté le volume du casque pour avoir un peu de puissance (je suis passer de 50% a 80%) je pense que le casque avec une vrai interface audio (que je vais bientôt acheter (une SSL2) ) le casque pourrai me réservé quelque chose de fou , je métrai a jour le commentaire pour vous dire mon ressentie. En tout cas même sans interface audio ou carte son de folie le casque est déjà super ! le son est d'excellente qualité et le confort du casque ( à mon sens l'un des points le plus incroyable) est fou je peu le porté pendant plusieurs heure sans avoir l'impression d'avoir quelque chose sur la tête ! plus petit point positif pour la réparabilité du casque , quasiment tout les composant de ce dernier ce trouve sur le site officiel ou même Amazon , un casque increvable en somme. The wire is very long which is very nice for me, the ear cushions are really soft and feels like they wont wear off anytime, It does not make me feel uncomfortable when wearing the headphones with glasses. I have headphones of almost all the famous brands (with and without Active Noise Cancellation... Bose Sound True, Bose Quite Comfort, Senneheiser, Sony, JBL, Audio Technica... Everything have theire own advantages and disadvantages. But this one too good, in terms of Sound Quality and comfort. No other headphones are near to this. Note that, it is open ear headphones. People next to you, may hear slight sound. So, it is not an Active Noise Cancellation. But it is the reason, you get comfort. It will not generate heat, even if you wear long time. It allows air circulation, while you are listening to songs. Earpad quality is also very good. This makes us comfortable to wear it. It is light weight. The cable length is ridiculously too lenghty. If you are plugged the audio jack to TV or a sound system, you can walk throuh the complete hall, with the headphones on your head! It is so lengthy! They should have been given detachable cables. However the cable is tangle free. If they had given detachable feature, we could use the cable of suitable length, depending on your need. I feel, this is one small disadvantage. Earlier this week I had no fewer than five headphone sets strewn around me. This included the much lauded Sony MDR-7506 Professional Studio Headphones, AKG-72, OneOdio, another Beyer-Dynamics headset, and an old Plantronics Gamecom headset. I had used the Plantronics for years, but it physically snapped in two a few months ago. I had tied it together with Duck-tape and tried various solutions. The first set I bought was the OneOdio unit, but I found the bass too overwhelming ( it is a closed back set - since the events described below, I have stuck chair-coasters on the cans so they cannot close completely on my head, but it is very uncomfortable). Consulting with various people who should know, I was directed to the Sony MDR-7506 Professional Studio Headphones. I eagerly bought those. I could not handle my own excitement when these highly lauded headphones arrived. I shoved them on my head, but the sound they emitted was truly ghastly. It seemed to consist of overwhelming bass and a screeching treble peak at 2.5kHz, and little else. They made my delicate acoustic guitar sound like a Fender Telecaster on its bridge pickup. My great anticipation turned to disappointment, and my disappointment turned into anger and then into sheer hatred. I went off to the local music store and came home with an AKG-72 headset. It was better-sounding than the much more expensive Sony set, but the bass was still unnaturally high. I think teenage girlies like it like that. I then searched for my old Duck-taped Plantronics set on Amazon and found it (https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B001KUSXXU), but it had been discontinued. However, the first line of its description made a point of stating "Open-ear design keeps you connected to the game and your surroundings". Apparently the key to my misery was that I needed "Open-ear" (open back) headphones. I do a lot of online jamming, and for that one needs to be able to both listen AND sing. With the Sony set, any attempt to sing while wearing those headphones was ridiculous. It was like trying to sing with a serious head cold and one's fingers stuck in one's ears. It was simply A-W-F-U-L. One's voice droned in one's head to the exclusion of all else. When I took the AKG set back, the shop gave me a Beyer-Dynamic DT-990 250 Ohm open back set and told me to take that PLUS the AKG home and to try them and see what I conclude. The Beyer-Dynamic DT-990 was obviously the solution. HOWEVER, its 250 Ohm impedance was a bit much for my little interface I was using for online jamming. But, lo and behold, when I took a look on Amazon, I found that Beyer-Dynamic were offering an 80 Ohm unit of the "same" DT-990. I immediately ordered this device and took back the AKG and the 250 Ohm headphone sets to the music shop. They could not provide the 80 Ohm device, otherwise I would have bought it from them. I am now the proud owner of a lovely German-designed 80 Ohm Beyer-Dynamic DT-990 headphone set manufactured in Germany. The sound through it is quite natural, and when I wear it AND sing, there is no sensation of "fingers in the ear" or "head cold". The overwhelming bass is gone and in its place is a well-tempered bass balance. The inhuman screeching treble of the Sony is nowhere in sight. In fact, that 2.5kHz response of the BT-990 is MANY decibels lower than the Sony and vastly better matched to the natural human hearing system. These are the headphones for folks who are prepared to spend at least around $200 for a decent set of headphones. Folks with hearing loss at 2.5kHz may well wish to consider the Sony set. Those are telephone frequencies. For my part, I can now jam online again and sing as I do so. All this without getting frustrated out of my skull as with the Sony set. Over and above all this, the DT-990s are very comfortable and one can wear them all evening and not notice it after a while. All the comparisons I made above were done using a Mackie 1202-VLZPRO mixer, which has three equalizer controls at 12kHz, 2.5 kHz and 80 kHz respectively. With the Sony set, I had to crank the 2.5kHz control almost all the way around anti-clockwise to get the response at that frequency to anywhere near reasonable. Read more

Beyerdynamic are the best headphones in the price range. For those that aren’t familiar with this make … 770 series are Closed Back, 880 are Semi Open and the 990 series are Fully Open Back. They very comfortable to wear for long listening sessions. I like the Fully Open back as it gives a more Spacious sound. For the Non-Technically minded, you should know that (which ever series) … … headphones with a high ohm number need more power e.g. 990 series with 600 ohms are better for use with a hi-fi Amp or a Mixer Desk. The lower values e.g 80 ohms or lower are best suited to Music Player (MP3 etc.) and iPhones etc. High value ohms will still work with MP3 / iPhones etc. but they will just not be as loud. J’avais acheté ce casque pour mon Home studio. Je l’avais toujours vu sur la tête des mes artistes et youtubeurs préférés, après avoir regardé des vidéos sur le casque j’ai décidé de l’acheter pour faire mes mixes et masters de mes musiques! Même si les aigus sont moins pas mal mis en avant sur ce casque, je ne trouve pas ça dérangeant, au contraire, il se révèle très précis et détaillés, mes médiums sont bons et les basses pas mal présentés et profondes pour être un casque ouvert. Elle sont punchy, précises et pas du tout trop boosté comme j’ai déjà pu lire (bien sûr le son est très subjectif). La qualité de construction est très bien, même s’il est presque entièrement en plastique, il est assez qualitatif, les coussinets sont très confortables et doux (et remplaçables) et ne surchauffes pas vos oreilles. L’arceau est en métal recouvert d’un revêtement en faux cuir qui est très confortable et remplaçable lui aussi! Bref selon moi pour le prix c’est un excellent casque que j’utilise pour faire de la musique et aussi pour jouer! Read more

And when I opened that link there was no item I could leave my feedback. Thankfully, the headphones are just fine and working properly even if It was not properly boxed. The velours on the earcups are so comfortable around my ears. It doesn't hurt my jaws and around my ears even after wearing it for hours! Unlike my previous headphones. It has a wide soundstage perhaps because it's open back and sounds even better with my DAC/amp. I'd definitely recommend these headphones to my peers and family.
