These are some of the most beautiful deck of cards I have ever seen. They feel great in your hands and shuffle pretty well. These cards go wrong though because for some reason they are sticky and will stick together quite often which is a big problem. They can also be very hard to read especially if looking directly down on them, but that being said it's kind of what makes them look so good. I think maybe a gold or certain tint just to show the card info would be good. Otherwise these cards are really great and very durable. The container box it came in was even really nice but a bit hard to open. Overall I wish I would've looked around a bit more but I guess these are a good deck to have around even if hard to read. This is a highly unusual deck of cards but they seem durable, well designed, and are quite beautiful. The light catches the card specifics for reasonable readability and have an overall mystique about them that is quite alluring. There are only two drawbacks: first, the design, while beautiful, creates a roughness that makes the cards difficult to fan out. Second, I ordered the black theme, and while the cards do a reasonable job at catching the light, in a medium/dark room they're quite difficult to read. I'm gonna be honest, I love these cards. I usually buy paper cards that get damaged and replaced. These are super durable and after almost a year, not a scratch or stain and I've carried them in my coat or pants pocket every day. The design is so cool and unique with the way light hits the cards. Now I have to say, I have gotten little gripes and complains about how hard it is to see black on lighter black. Some people have trouble with reading them. However I wear glasses and can read them fine. Also, really hard to cheat because reading from an angle is hard and obvious. So I think it evens out to be an awesome item especially for people who love card games. Read more

The cards are not gray like in the photos here. They are pitch black. They are very hard to read even at plain day light, imagine in lower light. They are also sticky. Medium hard to shuffle but really hard to manipulate. I will try to play more with them to see if they soften with time and manipulation... But I doubt it.
