Below is the script for my video review on Youtube (under title: Logitech MX Vertical Mouse - 30 Days Going Vertical). I purchased this with my own money and this is an unbiased take. Thank you :) Vertical mice have been around for some time now, but this is the first one Logitech has ever created. Logitech is known for making very nice, high quality peripherals at an affordable price. Their MX line for lack of a better term is their flagship line and typically comes at a higher cost. But at that high cost you’re getting better features, a built-in battery, a unique/premium design and the overall craftsmanship is just better. And this mouse is no different. Overall the body of the mouse is composed from a plastic polymer which allows it to be equal parts durable and light as it comes in at around 135 grams. The portion of the mouse where your hand rests on and interfaces with has this nice texturized, rubber coating. This texturized surface allows for improved grip and allows the overall end user experience to be that much more comfortable. The MX vertical mouse has 6 buttons in total, 4 of which are customizable via Logitechs downloadable application. Along the right edge is standard left and right buttons and in between is the scroll wheel. The scroll wheel is depressible, customizable and has that same rubber coating as the rest of the mouse. It is buttery smooth, has a subtle click and feels so nice when turning it. Along the left edge there is two more customizable buttons. These are just above where your thumb lies and are easy to reach, even if you have smaller hands. Along the top edge just adjacent Logitech’s branding is our last customizable button. This is also easily within reach and comes setup as a DPI adjuster out of the box. This button allows you to toggle between 2 different DPI settings, both of which can be adjusted by holding down the button and moving the mouse. The DPI range of this mouse is extremely impressive. It can cover as low as 400 dots per inch or a maximum of 4000 dots per inch. This is helpful for a few reasons: firstly the higher the DPI you can achieve the more area you can cover when moving your mouse. This is convenient when you have a larger monitor such as an ultrawide or when using a 4k monitor as you can cover more pixels with less movement. Higher DPI is usually emulated via settings within the software but this results in less smooth movement which is important for professional work or while gaming. And less movement feeds into the main ideology of this mouse. Higher dpi allows for less movement which is less strain on your wrist, resulting in a more comfortable experience. This is the main reason why this mouse exists: to minimize strain on your wrist and increase the overall comfort. It does this by allowing for a higher DPI range but mainly by altering the way your hand rests on the mouse. The average mouse orients your hand parallel with the surface. In order to achieve this position your forearem twists and is forced into a pronated position. This causes stress on a major muscle in your wrist, the pronator quadratus. This muscle (along with the pronator teres) is responsible for turning your wrist inward and maintaining this pronated position. Not only is your wrist stressed but in order to maintain this position your elbow is forced to flare away from your body causing a secondary strain on your deltoid, which in turn causes a tertiary strain on your upper back near your scapula. In order to relieve this strain, Logitech has re-oriented the angle at which your hand rests on the mouse. Rather than being parallel with the surface, the mx vertical mouse is oriented at a 57-degree angle. This is a more natural position for your wrist to be in and helps reduce strain greatly. Not only does this reduce the strain in your wrist, it also helps keep your elbow tucked closer to your body, allowing your deltoid to relax, and further preventing it from causing strain on your upper back. In terms of connecting the mouse you have 3 options: you can connect wirelessly via Bluetooth or with this included usb dongle. And lastly you can hard wire in with the included USB type-C cable. The usb type c port also allows for charging. The mouse has a 240mAh battery and Logitech claims you can get 4 months of battery life on a single charge and I actually think this is accurate. Over the 35 days I have owned this mouse, I have used it 2-6 hours on a given day and have put roughly 80 hours of use on my first charge. And according to logitech’s desktop application my battery is still near full. Only time will tell if it actually survives 3 more months without needing to reach for the cable but as of now it’s excellent! The MX vertical mouse is also capable of connecting up to 3 devices as it has an easy-switch selector on the bottom. This is nice if you’re wanting to use this across multiple computers and it switches effortlessly whether you’re on a pc or mac. Overall this mouse is great. It attempts to provide a more comfortable, ergonomic experience and reduce strain in your wrist and I have to be honest I was skeptical at whether or not this would even achieve that goal. I mean I’ve never had any wrist issues before would I actually benefit from this? The answer is a resounding yes. After using this mouse for just over a month I can comfortably say this mouse will provide you with a more comfortable experience and it will make you aware that you are causing stress to your wrist. Just transitioning from the mx vertical mouse to my keyboard, I can feel a drastic difference in my wrist. It immediately becomes strained when typing and relief is found when I go back to using the mouse. If you have any wrist or arthritic issues definitely give this mouse a look, it may just provide the relief you need. I know I won’t be going away from mine anytime soon. Read more

I have been using this mouse for almost 3 years and love it! (1) Mouse shape design:The way of holding it is more natural and comfortable than the traditional mouse. My hand size is about 16.5 long (middle figer to wrist) and 8.5 cm width, the size of the mouse fit me well. Now, I rarely have wrist pain when using this mouse for 6 to 8 hours daily. (2) Function: The reposne of the mouse is good, and the product is well manufactured and good durability. (3) The only downside I can think about is the click sound (sorry, I might be too picky). It still has the traditional mouse click sound. This would be personal preference, just like some loves the sounds from mechanical keyboard and some like a keyboard with quiet typing sounds. Es muy cómodo trabajar con este tipo de mouse. Antes de comprarlo me preocupaba el hecho de que no me fuera a acostumbrar, sin embargo es el único mouse que he utilizado desde que me llegó. El primer día lo hice para forzarme a utilizarlo, los siguientes días me sentía incómodo con mi anterior mouse ( Corsair M65 ). Aún no puedo asegurar que la batería, una vez cargada completamente, le dura 4 meses puesto que apenas tengo con él 3 semanas. Los materiales son de muy buena calidad y es muy agradable al tacto. Su configuración es muy sencilla. Tengo, además, un trackball Logitech ERGO M575, el cual es también muy cómodo sin embargo no lo utilizo para diseño puesto que no tiene la misma precisión. Tuve alguna vez un problema con el reconocimiento de los dispositivos a través de Logitech Unifying, el cual solucioné instalando la aplicación SetPoint, también de Logitech. Además se puede conectar a través de Bluetooth o a través del cable USB-C ( incluído ), lo cual es una gran ventaja. Cabe mencionar que, a diferencia del ERGO M575, el MX Vertical Mouse no cuenta con el compartimiento para guardar la antena Unifying. El mouse es muy ligero. Quizás me hubiera gustado que fuera ligeramente más pesado pero no es un inconveniente. Es cómo tanto en manos pequeñas como grandes. This is a fantastic mouse. Fixed some of my wrist pain. Seems to be well built and has two side buttons for back and forward for browsing the internet that I find I use all the time. I have it connected to my computer through Bluetooth, using it in a different room 35 feet away from my computer. So, it has some decent range. Read more

Great for long hours of work (especially if you’re back to work prior to having RSI). Works a treat in productivity scenarios and surprisingly is a great gaming mouse too (Cyberpunk, Overwatch etc). I'll start off with a disclaimer, I've only owned this mouse for about a month now, so any potential long-term issues have not affected me yet. Logitech is going to be WAY higher quality than the rest of the 'ergo' mouses on Amazon, but Logitech is Logitech and eventually something will surely fail. The Good: - Battery Life. Absolutely mental capacity. I've charged it once since I've gotten it... for 5 minutes. And it's still at 100%. - It's SUBSTANTIALLY better than a standard mouse, and I will never. ever. go back. If you spend more than an hour at a computer per day, not only will this be comfortable, but it's also a must for the health of your wrist. Once you use a normal mouse after using this, you notice the strain. - Everything feels high quality, and this is certainly the highest quality ergo mouse on Amazon. The Bad: - While it is super ergonomic, I would've like to see a steeper angle with adjustability. - There is no wrist rest. On a normal mouse, you don't need one, because the weight of your hand is on top of the mouse, but with an ergo-mouse, your hand is not resting on top of anything, you're either pinching the mouse, or you're using it with improper posture letting your palm touch your desk. - It's easy to knock over while moving your hand across your desk because of its tall height, low width and egg shape. This could've been solved (as with the wrist rest) by pointing the base of the mouse outward and giving it a little lip. - Being that it's the only high quality ergo-mouse, and it comes with Logitech's macro software, 2 extras buttons would have been nice. Page Forward, Page Back and a spare aren't enough if someone's using this all day. RECOMMONDATION: It's totally worth it. It's the only high quality ergo-mouse available, so if you're in the market for one, and don't trust the $20 Chinese ones, this is your only option. Read more

Bought this Logitech MX Vertical Wireless Mouse for my home office on a lark and a splurge. Boy, am I glad I did! And my old arthritic hand and carpal tunnel wrist say it was well worth the extra $$. At the end of the first day, I was pleasantly surprised to find that I did not have the usual fatigue and achiness that I usually experience at the end of the day with my old, high quality, but horizontal mouse. This mouse has a nice heft and smooth button action, making it quick and easy to glide and click. It has a button on the thumb side that toggles between open windows, but I have not gotten into the habit of using it yet. It also has a button on the top of the mouse where you can adjust the speed of the mouse, minimizing the amount of wrist action needed to move the pointer across the screen. This also means less space required on the top of the desk for mouse operation; helpful when you are mousing across several computers, with multiple monitors. Being able to mouse across to a completely separate computer means one less mouse on top of the desk as well. Set up for this was easy. Get out the instructions just in case, then plug the USB wireless adapter in, and a dialog box opens up. I have it plugged into my personal laptop and I am able to move the mouse pointer over to my work laptop screen and it's external monitor and mouse there too. The mouse works on my work laptop even when my personal laptop of powered down. Woohoo! This would be an awesome mouse to use for making presentations on the big screen in the conference room from your laptop. I put it on the charger overnight before trying it out the following morning. I plugged in the adapter and it was ready to go. It took a little longer to get it to work on the second computer, only because I had to go find the box with the instructions in it. With instructions in hand, setting up the second computer only took a minute or two. I use the mouse five to seven days a week, 10-18 hours a day. In the eight months that I have had it, I think I have recharged it maybe three times. It recharges pretty fast. When the little red light by your thumb comes on, it is time to plug it in. I was able to use the mouse while it was charging. Well, except for the one time I let the battery run down completely before plugging it in. Oops... After seven months of using this mouse while working from home, I returned to my work office, with my work desktop computer and my old horizontal mouse. I only lasted for an hour before the wrist pain and hand fatigue came back with a vengeance, and had me running to HR, asking for a physical accommodation. They supplied me with the cheapo model vertical mouse. Yes, it was technically a vertical mouse, but the buttons were so clunky and hard to manipulate that my hand had to work twice as hard to click them, causing my mousing to be inaccurate. The inefficiency and frustration of the many mis-clicks required extra time, not in my busy schedule, to fix a lot of things that got clicked by mistake. It was more physically demanding than the horizontal mouse, defeating the purpose of providing relief to my hand and wrist. I stuck it out and did my due diligence and gave myself two weeks to get used to it, but at the end of the two week period and a lot of ibuprofen, the cheapo model had to go. Having given the cheapo a chance, HR relented and let me purchase a second Logitech MX Vertical Wireless Mouse to bring in to the work office. - Quality counts! - I now happily mouse using the Logitech MX Vertical Wireless Mouse both at home and at work. Financially, yes, it cost a little more, but it is cheaper in the long run, both physically and financially, and more preferable than the cost of having another carpal tunnel surgery, and the pain and suffering included in that process. I am a very satisfied customer and highly recommend this mouse to those who have hand issues, or to those wanting a really spiffy mouse to wow their friends and co-workers with when they use it with multiple computers. Probé un mouse vertical económico, era el top 1 en ventas, sin embargo, lo terminé regresando ya que la rueda de desplazamiento hacia un ruido horrible; preferí hacer el esfuerzo e invertir en este mouse. Punto importante, este equipo te ayudará con el dolor de túnel carpiano, solo no desesperes, al principio cuesta acostumbrarse, no más de dos semanas, vale mucho la pena el esfuerzo. Otro punto a favor, a demás de su calidad y el tiempo de duración de la batería interna (que esta genial) es que puedes programar el botón de arriba para que realice alguna otra acción, por ejemplo, uso mucho el desplazamiento con el botón de home, lo grabe ahí y todo genial. Excelente mouse. Uso computador há umas boas três décadas, e sem dúvidas o melhor mouse que já usei. Não sou gamer, entretanto. Meu uso é casual e para trabalho de escritório. A ergonomia é excelente, falo com propriedade pois já tive outros dois mouses verticais e ainda tenho outro, comprado da China, que uso no escritório. Esse é o melhor. Tem bluetooth então você pode deixar o dongle no PC e alternar pro laptop quando quiser clicando um botão. E ainda cabe outro aparelho, ou seja, dá pra usar até no smartphone (lembrando que iPhone não é smart kkkkk btfo appleboy). De toda sorte, um dos melhores aspectos é a bateria recarregável via USB-C, trazendo praticidade e economia a longo prazo.
