Mon home cinema est au dernier étage d'une maison assez vieille, la salle vidéo a du vieux parquet et quand le caisson de basse se déclenche tout se mets à vibrer, les basses perdent en précision et ça se répercute dans toute la maison. Avec ce découpleur, les basses ont énormément gagnées en précision, pour exemple, sur le film le Roi Lion, au début quand on entends les pas des éléphants, avant ça ressemblait à un tremblement de terre, maintenant ce sont bien des pas d'éléphants. I wasn't sure if this product would work, but it really does. I put it under a Paradigm 8" bass speaker that is part of my stereo listening room (I also use bookshelf Paradigm Monitors and all are connected to an Integra DRT 7.3 from the early 90's and played from George Benson's "Give me the Night" from 1980 on a Thorens TD 160 turntable I bought in 1973)) and the bass was much more focused and tighter. I was amazed. I have a 10" Mirage woofer from the early 1990's in our family room connected to Mirage Omnistat surround sound speakers and a newish Onkyo TX-NR1008 (from 10 years ago?) and I am now going to try another IsoAcoustic base for that. I don't think I can lose. It really did make a significant difference. Also based on the some of the equipment I mentioned, you might guess that I am oldish. BTW I also have a Sansui 881 reciever that I bought in 1974 and just like me it is also working...perfectly. You just have to let it warm up. Read more

works great, bass sounds clearer and tight, and there is less vibration felt through the floor versus using an iso pad. setup is simple and quick. material feels sturdy. looks great and does not take up a lot of space, completely stable with the speaker on it. am using with an LG SK5Y sub which is on the slimmer side but fits well on this iso stand.
