After trying several other much cheaper wireless mice, they all had problems with the scroll-wheel swearing out fast, connection problems, etc. I finally decided to spend a little more for the G305 after reading lots of positive reviews. I'm really happy that I bought this mouse. The Logitech software installed easily on my Win10 PC and works flawlessly. The software also plays nice when you have multiple Logitech mouse & keyboard products that you might switch between. The G305 is a little heavy with an alkaline battery so I installed a lithium AA to reduce the overall weight. Now it is comfortable to use. No connection issues or lag, not ever, wakes up instantly when needed. The resolution for my CAD work is excellent and makes working on CAD with a 4K monitor super nice. The scroll-wheel is solid and has detents and a rubber tire with a tread so it's easy to feel and to turn. I like the power slide-switch on the bottom so I can shut it completely off when I plan to be away from the computer for an extended period or simply when transporting it from home to work or whatever. The battery life is incredible. After using it all day every weekday for 3 months, it's still on the first battery (I selected a slower sampling rate using the software). This mouse hasn't got any fancy LEDs, but with accuracy and battery life like this, who cares. I would buy this mouse again without hesitation. Read more
