The screen fit perfect and exact like the original. But, don't take on this project unless you are patient and have a steady hand. Removing 8 screws, that make eyeglass screws look gigantic, is easy, but putting them back in is not easy. I began my project just to replace the battery. After botching that up, I ended up replacing the battery, screen and glass. But now I think I have a brand new Gen 7 Nano. For an audiobook listener,,, I'm thrilled. Tentative recommendation... All of the connections work, but the corners were not cut to fit flush with the ipod. I compared it to the old cracked screen and it was ever so slightly larger than the original screen. Read more
