This headset is pretty impressive. They are fairly comfortable to me - could be better if the pads were larger but that's subjective and depends on your particular head and ears. Performance is excellent. They are capable of playing audio very loud. The receiver is great and I can walk outside of my apartment to my porch at the back of my apartment and have a conversation from my PC which is in my bedroom! The microphone provides good sound and noise cancelling. Audio from the mic is clear, not muffled or muddy sounding, and adequately loud. The quality of the sound is quite good. They are not audiophile quality in sound (headsets like that cost much more), but definite far above the "cheap" sounding headphones I have tried. These DO NOT have boomy, boxy, watery, or tinny sound. The sound is rich and full. I have used them to listen to music and to chat and in both circumstances they quite good. The battery life is AMAZING. I can charge them and use them for chat for an exceptionally long time. I am very satisfied with this headset. They are worth the money. You will not get this kind of performance, either with a mic or sound, from headsets that cost $50 or less. They are priced fairly considering their excellent performance and extreme battery life, and may actually be worth much more. Been using these for 5 years now...Time sure is weird since COVID. These have been the best wireless headphones I could have have asked for. I did not realize how good these were, until I recently tried to replace them with the HyperX Cloud Alpha Wireless this week 10/16/2024. The Alpha Wireless model offers 300 hours of battery, but I suspect this is achieved by reducing sound quality and corresponding hardware to its absolute bare minimum. Those sings sounded like I was in a tin can under water. Voices in Discord were downright terrible. The Cloud Flight wireless on the other hand has very natural bass reproduction, no weird distortions or flattening of sounds. The Alpha's were just slightly more comfortable, but not enough to say WOW I have to make these work. I am sending back the Alpha Wireless and keeping my 5 year old Flight Wireless. I may even pick up a 2nd pair of the Flight's considering how good they sound for a wireless gaming headset, dont give the clamp effect on my larger head and has aftermarket earpads available for cheap. Win win all around if you can manage 30 hours of battery on wireless. I have personally had no issues with the 30 hour battery and can play while it is charging so no big deal. BTW, I think HyperX has confusing product releases and far too many similar sounding models. They really need to clean it up and help better explain what model is what and what is being sunset/replaced with what new model. Really happy with this wireless headset after trying out several others. Pros - Because it's wireless and not bluetooth, the connection quality is very good with no disruptions or lag. The range is really good too, easily 20+ metres. - it's more comfortable than any over the ear headphones I've used in the past. Not very heavy either, can even work out wearing them. - The sound quality is quite good, however don't expect to be top- notch like $500 headsets. - The volume goes up to really loud, and the volume wheel is very handy. - Battery life has been really good as well, lasts 18-20 hours at least (with light off). It has a 3.5mm port too for wired connection. - Mic quality is decent but not outstanding, its good enough for calls.
