So despite the fact that I am a woman in her early forties, I still have very oily skin and hair. My entire life I have tried many things to help this, and many shampoos to help this. However, this is the first shampoo that I noticed actually makes a difference. I use it about once a week or once every two weeks and it always extends the life of my hair between shampoos. I don't know how, but it does. It does have a very strong smell, kind of like an evergreen forest, but I did notice it is not as strong in the most recent bottle I purchased. I have been spending way too much on a salon quality clarifying shampoo that is supposed to get rid of everything, but still, my fine hair was left with a greasy residue (B&B Sunday). I had to then do a bentonite clay mask to fully clean my hair. Not anymore. Now, I can shampoo my hair and it’s left clean like a normal person. No more hoops to jump through just to get my hair to a clean slate. For context, I have fine 3c curls. My hair looks the best when it has no product build up but nothing has really worked up until now. I deep condition after using this and my hair is left silky, smooth, and shiny.
