This product was super cute and dainty, I do find the price to be pretty fair when compared to similar products so in that respect it was okay. I bought it to give as a present and the recipient was extremely happy with it and also found it super cute. The shape itself is very pretty and the design just adds to it that much more. I do think the quality was pretty good, but since this wasn’t bought for myself and I haven’t used it, I don’t have much more to say, but it does seem like a product that should be handwash just to ensure its longevity. This cup and saucer set was purchased for my 9 year old son for the holidays as he’s expressed his desire to up the sophistication factor to his after school tea time. The packaging was sturdy and secure, and no damage was done to the product. As there is gilt edging to both the saucer and cup, I wouldn’t recommend putting it into the microwave for any reason. While I wouldn’t say it is the most delicate of materials, it doesn’t feel bulky or awkward. It is slightly thicker than a cup one might receive at a more traditional tea gathering, but perfect if you (or your child) would like to use it without worry of cracking it the first time it’s set down with aplomb.
