These did the job I needed them for really well. They all turned on and off and were good and bright. The only slight catch is that it's not quite as clear as I'd have liked when it comes to the direction of the batteries and the battery holder when you're setting them up. These small torches were bought for my 3.5 yr old to appease her (on some nights) of her fear of the dark, and access just enough light when needed.
