We have camped in this awning room twice and are very impressed with it so far. Seems very well thought out and durable, and quite spacious for two people and two small dogs. It's nice to be able to stand up in the room! We also like that the floor is a "tub" design, where the bottom fabric/material goes up higher than ground-level. This way, if it rains, the floor seams aren't sitting on the wet ground. We like how the ceiling of the room has a transparent strip to accommodate the LED light built into the awning. And we like how the sides can be completely closed for privacy/warmth, or completely open with mosquito netting. Read more

Purchased the ARB awning about 6 years ago for use on road trips and back country off road camping. The awning is awesome, not one time have we had an issue with it. We knew we wanted the awning room but thought we’d wait. 6 years later, we just purchased the awning room and used it in the beach Christmas Eve, used it again New Year’s Eve up country. Absolutely fantastic. Had the dogs sleeping in there with us, just used the 8” memory foam mattress that we have for sleeping in the 4 runner. The zippers are high quality and match up at the corners very well. The canvas is thick and durable. Screen is quality and sewn well. The floor basin is durable and water proof. Setup is so simple, it’s kinda ridiculous. The outer wall, the one the parallel to the side of the car....doubles as a shade tarp and already has grommets in the corners.
