I used to install car seats. I had a Graco SnugRide when I had my child many years ago. This particular model blew me away with different features. 1. The base is much easier to tighten than the Graco as there is a strap on top of the base to cinch it tight when using the LATCH system. 2. The hooks to attach to the vehicle when using the LATCH system is easy to attach to the vehicle and release once attached using a seatbelt button type release. 3. I called the company and YES the handle on the car seat can be kept in any of the three positions while the vehicle is in motion!!! I called as was not confirmed on the manual. 4. It is clarified which end faces toward the front of the vehicle on the base. I have seen many not know how to position the base The seat 1. 5 point harness is able to be tightened by pulling on a strap right between baby’s legs 2. Chest plate is easy to fasten and unfasten. 3. The buckle that go into the harness can be done independently of each other. I have seen seats where the user had to lock the clips together and then fasten them as a unit into the harness. 4. It is very easy to unfasten and loosen the straps to remove the child from the seat and of course it is easy to fasten child in the seat too! 5. The visor doesn’t interfere with the handle when In the carrying position. I am really impressed how nice this unit is. Of course, if you plan on using it in the middle back seat make sure the vehicle has LATCH for the middle. If the vehicle doesn’t have LATCH you would need to use the seatbelt to tighten the base. Most vehicles if you pull the seatbelt all the way out it will switch from adjustable to a locking belt. Hope this help make a decision you feel confident about! Read more

Okay, I haven’t actually used this car seat yet, but I have taken it out of the box. And, I’m a CPST, so inspecting car seats is sort of my thing. I love the quality of this seat, the comfy fabric, the breathability, the added touches that make it worth the price tag. I have installed quite a few keyfits, and I love the ease of install. The instructions are so clear and easy to understand! I know this seat will be great for my next little one. My one and only complaint is that I bought the chicco car seat caddy to go with this and it doesn’t click in if you have the removable cover on the seat. It’s really important that it does click in if the stroller were to ever topple over, so it’s a bummer that I won’t be able to use that feature with the stroller during cold months. After going through a few different car seats this is the only one my 3 month old baby won’t scream and cry when I put her in it. It’s super comfortable for her and supports her head and body great. The only this is it’s a little heavier then any of my other car seats but this one can also be used till she’s 2 years old. I just LOVE this seat and the variety of colors you can pick. I had this brand with my first daughter. Very cute, and light. Not to hard but not too soft for baby. Perfect size and weight to carry with your little on in it. Here after 5 months. I did a lot of research before getting this for my first son and it didn't dissapoint at all. It is very expensive, totally! however it is worth every penny. My son used this from the second he got out of the hospital and we have nothing but good comments about this plus it looks extremely nice. This seat is long and quite heavy, refrain from buying if you have a very small sedan, might trouble tall people on the front.
