Works very well for my cat, who absolutely hates being brushed, I tried every brush and comb on the market, she just got angry. She seems to be supersensitive about any kind of comb on her skin, and she turns and bites hard! Unfortunately, she needs to be brushed as she's beginning to mat. This was my last resort. It works exactly as advertised, the silicone teeth grab the fur nicely and the fur peels off easily. I see some comments that it doesn't work on some types of fur, for reference my cat is a moggy shorthair, with fairly standard white coarse hair with not much undercoat. I feel like this glove would work on pretty much any type of fur though. My cat still hates being brushed, but with this glove we've agreed that as long as I stroke her very softly, so the fur is just skimmed off, and if I only do about ten strokes max, and only done a couple of times a day she will let it be done. It does grab a lot of hair even with that little bit of brushing though. The other alternative is to take her to the vet and get sedated and clipped, not a good prospect. This glove will take some time to work in the case of my supersensitive moggy, but it will work. I'm pleased with the product.
