I've used legion protein powder for a while and have tried a few of the flavors although I usually stick with my comfort zone of chocolate or chocolate peanut butter. I decided to branch out and try the mint chocolate chip and I have to say I don't see myself going back to regular chocolate. It's like drinking an Andes. What I like about legion whey protein: - no fillers - 1 serving is 30 grams -- 22 grams of that is protein, that's an incredible ratio. It's mostly protein with a view anti-caking/clumping agents, sweetener(stevia) and flavor. Most proteins will be 40-45 grams per serving with the same or less protein. - mixes well (with water) - I've never had an issue mixing this with a simple blender bottle and water. Put it in, shake it a few times, let it sit, shake it a few more and you are set. - great taste - the flavors are great, especially the mint chocolate and I like the stevia compared to other artificial sweeteners. I loved the unflavored whey for its versatility and mixability . I particularly like mixing unflavored whey with other flavors that are too sweet. A solid product. I’ve tried many of the flavors. The salted caramel and birthday cake are good (both were repurchased). I’m currently using the cinnamon cereal flavor and it’s delicious — possibly my favorite flavor. I’d repurchase. I've been taking whey protein every day for 20 years. Over time, somehow, taste has gotten worse and the use of strong artificial sweeteners have mode most of them disgustingly sweet. Legion has nailed it. Using stevia the sweetness is not overpowering and the flavour is outstanding. Better than Leanfit, better than Biosteel, just great. Grass fed isolate is a must. I have used this several times now & not once has my stomach been all jerked up! • This is Ultra-Filtered & any top of the line Whey would make sure the Whey is carefully micro-filtered or Ultra-Filtered to remove any harmful bacteria. The Whey will pass through a special micro-filter & immediately after, bacteria & spores are separated. This process also separates any denatured (altered/cooked) whey proteins from undenatured proteins so that the result is a high quality whey protein rich in alpha-lactalbumin and beta-lactoglobulin (two special proteins found in whey that have immunological benefits) and low in fat.
