I got this to help with a large move, and i am OBSESSED with it. It's perfect in every way. It's laptop case sized in length and width, but about twice as thick. The bottom / large storage space is somewhat adjustable as some of the foam pieces can be removed and put in other spots, which is so much fun for customizing the compartments. I love the hidden brush storage and zippered section has a decent space for other flat items. The strap is also removable so it can double as a nice storage bag. It's very sturdy and stands nicely on its own and can hold up against some pressure from other objects around it. I got this to transport my (generous) skincare collection and had no fear that it would protect all the small bottles. I just might get more for other storage options (art, electronic components, other cosmetic uses like hair or nails). Dividers are sturdy so fat and the quality of of the materials the case is made of is good quality and well made. This peice has seemed to appear sturdy so far and protects the contents inside from breaking. Easily attaches to a luggage handle with attached fabric sewn on back. I have really enjoyed that feature as I travel often overnight for work each month and it's all there and ready to take with me in an instant. At the same time it's nice to use at home as w well. Keeps clutter to a minimum and space to organize all your cosmetics and tools. I wish they made an even bigger version I could use for all these items plus enough space for my toiletries and haircare products. But the makeup case is great and definitely would recommend.
