Very low calorie yet great taste. It's sweet but not as artificial overpowering as many other brands. Had success stirring with a fork or shaking in a mixer cup with ice (a little gets stuck on the bottom) but no chunks or clumps while drinking. Mixed with water, did not try milk or in a blender. Zero concerns with digestion and I have IBS and most whey and pre workouts irritate me. This hasn't yet even on empty stomach or late night. I had high expectations as an avid Pulse user (still imo the best Pre out there). For the price point, I would suggest subscribing or joining their newsletters/texts for frequent discounts. This is by far, the best protein I have ever tried. Yes, it is a bit expensive, but they use so little and natural ingredients that it is worth it. A lot of protein brands use Sucralose which is an artificial sweetener, and although it is only a little (or should be), the products taste too sweet. Legion on the other hand only uses Stevia, a natural sweetener. I was pleasantly surprised to find that this vanilla flavour doesn't taste too sweet. Almost every vanilla flavour I have tried is way too sweet, but this one isn't. I especially admire how they use transparency on all their ingredients and practices. I've used legion protein powder for a while and have tried a few of the flavors although I usually stick with my comfort zone of chocolate or chocolate peanut butter. I decided to branch out and try the mint chocolate chip and I have to say I don't see myself going back to regular chocolate. It's like drinking an Andes. What I like about legion whey protein: - no fillers - 1 serving is 30 grams -- 22 grams of that is protein, that's an incredible ratio. It's mostly protein with a view anti-caking/clumping agents, sweetener(stevia) and flavor. Most proteins will be 40-45 grams per serving with the same or less protein. - mixes well (with water) - I've never had an issue mixing this with a simple blender bottle and water. Put it in, shake it a few times, let it sit, shake it a few more and you are set. - great taste - the flavors are great, especially the mint chocolate and I like the stevia compared to other artificial sweeteners. I've been taking whey protein every day for 20 years. Over time, somehow, taste has gotten worse and the use of strong artificial sweeteners have mode most of them disgustingly sweet.
