Edit: 3/25/21: The drive reviewed below is defective. I just did a transfer on an identical drive at 100 mbs. I still haven't gotten over my resentment at Corsair for replacing the original budget Voyager with the inferior Voyager X-1. That said, I own over 100 USB drives & from a price to quality perspective this appears to be the best drive out there at this time. I've never had any of this model of any size go bad. After writing the above, I checked the write speed on Win 10 in NTFS performance mode. It averaged approximately a dreadful 30 mbps. I don't remember that being the case in the past; there are several drives out there that I have seen hit 90. I don't know if I have a slightly defective drive, if Corsair has intentionally slowed it down (due to the price) or if I never paid attention before with this model. I can say this model has never caused any issue on hi-res music or 1080 video playback. Even before doing that test, I was not suggesting this is the best drive on the market; just the best for the price. When I have time, I'm going to test a couple more. The "high end" Adata's are probably a better bargain, but their current entry level drives "3.2" have been known to have problems, so I still tend to use the Adata's for stuff that's not super important to me.
