This is an overseas product promoted on social media and many other websites as being better for cats than dry foods with grains, peas and chicken meal. Its often mentioned in the top ten brands. First off, there are no grains in this, however the major animal product is chicken meal, and the amount of roast Venison is 4%, as is the amount of smoked Salmon. It is high in protein and fats which cats need. It also contains peas and sweet potato, which is not part of their natural carnivore diet. I have seen this brand heavily promoted on social media, however considering the errors sometimes found in their assessments of different brands, the true test will be whether the cats like it and eat it without throwing up, while I try and find out a bit more about so-called "grain-free" products. I'm hoping that this brand is as good as is claimed because grain-free products are very hard to find where I live and purchasing from Amazon makes life so much simpler. If this turns out to be OK, I will come back and amend this review and change the star rating. Until then, the jury is out and all I can suggest is try and do your homework, and don't believe everything the adverts say. 14th December: the cats are not impressed, and even the dog has not tried to steal it.
