I had trouble finding a harness that was small enough to fit my 2.5 pound 6 month old Pomeranian. Her chest was about 11 inches (hard to measure because of the fur). We started out with the xxxs and it fit great! Super durable and it was washed many times (even in bleach and hot water due to a puppy parasite she came with :/ ) without any damage or fading to the harness. She is now 9 months, 3.5 pounds and chest around 11.5 inches plus lots of fur and we graduated to the xxs. It adjusts just fine to fit her. Neither harness ever slipped off. She actually jumped out of her center console car seat once and on to the driver’s seat, at least she tried. She was just hanging there about an inch above the seat comfortably for no more than 10 seconds without being in distress or slipping out. Would highly recommend.
