I was looking for some middle level headphones to use while working, and these really exceeded my expectations. The sound quality is great in a variety of genres, and while I would not say that they are not completely noise isolating, they definitely dampen the noise around you, creating a comfortable work environment. I work in a social setting and often have to communicate ideas with others so I personally enjoy that I can pick up on if someone directly addresses me. I will say for others the ear cups may be too small. I have tiny ears so they fit me, however I can understand how larger ears might not be quite as comfortable. Same goes for the headband, though that seems stretchy and over the week I've had these they've loosened comfortably, but don't seem to be over-stretching. The main concern I have for these headphones is the thinness of the wire, as I could see it breaking if not maintained properly. Bought this during a lightning sale to replace my moto pulse which did not last long. Wanted earphones which had an oval shaped ear pad. Though not many reviews, I have had good experience wth this brand, decided to take a chance. No regrets. It is comfortable to wear (i do not use more than 30 to 40 minutes). The sound reproduction is quite good, the bass is not too overbearing and the mids and highs clear. No distortion at high volume. The sound quality is way beyond the moto pulse that it replaced. I have also used a sennheiser over the ear, the H840 is quite good. Blocks the external noise quite well and hardly any leakage of sound, so you wont disturb the person near you. Overall a good quality headphone for day to day use, expecially listening to music. The wire is quite long too. The minor cons, the cable splits into two, one for each year and is not detachable. I had to buy a new pair of headphones just for walking around. I didn't want to spent a lot of money because I have a another pair of Audio Technica MSR7 that are incredible in terms of resolution and construction, but of course much more expensive. Despite the good reviews of the Edifier HD840, I was really surprised with the sound of these little and cheap cans. Lower frequencies are a little bit amplified, but not enough to lose the clarity of mids and highs. These headphones reproduce very very well cords(specially acoustic guitar) and it is very pleasant to listen any kind of music with them. They are very light and comfortable. En general me pareció muy buen producto, compre un par para mi y unos para mi esposa, en alrededor de 550 pesos mexicanos cada uno. Acorde a ese precio me parece que son bonitos y los materiales son de buena calidad, se pueden ajustar al tamaño de tu cabeza, la parte que toca las orejas es muy suave al tacto y me parecen cómodos, aunque si los usas varias horas en mi caso si me duele un poco la oreja (aunque si los acomodas bien si queda la oreja dentro de los audífonos sin aplastarse). Se escuchan bien en conferencias y el micrófono también funciona muy bien. Para música considero tienen buen balance, no se enfoca demasiado en graves o agudos. Excellent high quality sound, super comfortable on the ears and head, light weight yet durable material that feels good to touch, stylish design, the cord length is perfect, the top and sides bends well to fit your head. I could go on. Great price too, very affordable! I workout and these are very breathable around my ears keeping them cool and fresh and staying put without hurting my scalp. These are super comfy! :) The noise isolation is pretty close to noise cancellation so I gave it a 5/5 above since that was the closest category. Eu tinha um Razer Kraken X e tive que trocar pois aquele produto é muito ruim em áudio e o acabamento dele é muito frágil, o plástico dele ressecou e quebrou no meio duas vezes, na primeira eu dei um jeito mas na segunda não teve chance de resolver e tive que me despedir dele, comprando este fone da Edifier. A princípio, acabei de receber ele, e venho-me o choque; ele é MUITO bom! Sim, não tenho nem horas para contar e já amei o fone em todos os sentidos, ele é leve, confortável, acabamento lindo e estiloso, além de ser confortável inclusive para quem usa óculos como eu. Testei música clássica, rock, rap, indie, pop e metal, e pasmem, ele lidou bem com todos os estilos aqui citados, graves bem definidos, isola bem o exterior, além do volume ser consideravelmente bom. O que me frustrou é não ter controle de volume, isso faz falta em um fone para se usar em computador/celular, além de não ter micro, então, atentem-se a isso! Edit1: Depois de quase 1 ano de uso, posso concluir que é um fone incrível, MUITO DURÁVEL. Funcionando bem até então. Realmente los comentarios anteriores me asustaron sin embargo, como ya había comprado unas bocinas Edifier me atreví a comprar éstos audífonos y vaya sorpresa . Me considero audiofilo medio y mis oídos están algo entrenados. La calidad de audio es muy buena.. para el precio es superior. Unos bajos Buenos y no dejan mal. Una presencia de medios bastante aceptable y los agudos finos . En concreto si te gusta escuchar música de calidad éstos audífonos te permiten disfrutar sin perdidas. En la construcción de materiales son muy buenas fuertes y sin embargo no pesan, no aprietan demasiado los oídos, quizá un poquitos más grandes hubiera sido mejor pero uso lentes y no molestan.
