Alright, let me get right down to it. Getting a little tired of reading the mixed reviews here. There seems to be a great deal of confusion as to who has authentic reviews and who has fake ones. I've literally read each review during some recent down time, and although I did find some of the "5-star reviews" to be a bit odd (ex; each reviewer using their first/last names, or a ton of women making comments on how they've purchased this for their husbands/BF, etc) the comments weren't all off base. Anyone questioning my authenticity can easily just continue reading (or check my review history) either way it doesn't matter to me. But I have used this product for exactly 1 month now and it has made a BIG difference in my appearance. I have previously ordered VitaBeard, Beardilizer and Beard Growther oil all off of Amazon, having seen minimal results using all 3, but nothing compared to Beard Grow XL. Both VitaBeard and Beardilizer each gave me some additional fuzz on the areas where my facial hair usually wouldn't grow, but with Beardilizer came a noticeable side effect such as severe head pain (During the early stages of taking it). In the end, both supplements did not assist my facial hair at the rate Beard Grow has. Beard Growther oil probably produced the least amount of results out of them all. Listen, NONE of these products will give you a Duck Dynasty beard. It really all boils down to genetics with beard length. But Beard Grow XL has given me a substantial increase on cheek hair (so my beard looks as if it is trying to fill in) as well as a noticeable increase to my mustache. The gap in between my mustache filled in in about 2 weeks time. Keep in mind, YOU HAVE TO ALREADY BE ABLE TO GROW FACIAL HAIR IN ORDER TO SEE ANY TYPE OF RESULTS. I have suffered from a spotty beard for quite some time now (I am in my mid 30s) and I have tried almost everything on the market. I occasionally use Biotin as well but I can't say that it has had the same effect as Beard Grow. I use Beard Grow 3x a day now (initially I started at 2) and will most likely order more so that I can REALLY give a thorough analysis after about 90 days of usage. 3-4 months time is really all you need to see if a product really is true to form. My beard is still not as defined on one side of my face, but I have definitely seen a steady increase in growth overall. I will most likely update this review by the end of summer. Hope this helps. Comparing this beard supplement to VitaBeard per the supplement label this is falling pretty far behind for the price I paid! I heisted to buy this as I couldn't find a Supplement Facts sheet on Beard Grow XL to compare it to the bottle of VitaBeard I already had. I wasn't completely sure if VitaBeard was really making my beard come in thicker or if it was just that I let it grow for an extra month? My beard is kinda thin so I thought let's take a look at Beard Grow XL (I'm on the minoxidil journey to see if I can get a beard to grow). For the price of it being 2.5 times more expensive maybe it has better ingredients and/or other vitamins in it that VitaBeard doesn't offer that will make your beard grow thicker? Well from what I can tell that is not the case. VitaBeard cost me $24.95 and Beard Grow XL cost me $59.99 and yet VitaBeard has 15 vitamins listed whereas Beard Grow XL has 11. So right off the bat you're getting 4 less vitamins in Beard Grow XL than you are with VitaBeard despite the price being 2.5 times more expensive! However, it isn't just 4 less vitamins offered, the amount is SIGNIFICANTLY reduced compared to VitaBeard! Unless I am missing something very important, I do not yet see why I ought to buy Beard Grow XL over VitaBeard in the future. I will take the vitamins for 30 days and report back to see if it really does make your beard grow in thicker or not and change the rating I am now giving. HI! “Billy the Kid” Here! I wanted to leave a review on this stuff my girlfriend bought me, because it’s absolutely incredible!! When I met my girlfriend on OKCupid, things were going great!! We did the long distance thing for a while, and then, when I thought the time was right, I moved out to Oregon, and a friend of mine there let me rent a room in their house in the Alberta neighborhood for a reasonable price. I got to see my girlfriend all the time, and things were going great until she remarked that I ought to grow a beard, so I would fit in, and not look like I was from California. Now, I have never been able to grow a beard. I tried it once when I was 30. I had two weeks of vacation from work, and I did a little camping and fishing, and didn’t want to have to bother with shaving, so I just let it fill in. It wasn’t until the end of the two weeks, as I was driving back to town and getting a tank of gas, that I caught my reflection in the window of my truck, and thought, Oh my God! Who is this baby faced teenager. I had grown what amounted to splotchy 5 o’clock stubble. My girlfriend got me this bottle of Beard Grow XL, Men's Hair Growth Vitamins. After taking 3 capsules a day for just a couple of weeks, my beard is already starting to fill in and look like something Paul Bunyan would be proud of! My girlfriend will be in for a pleasant surprise when I get back from camping this time! I thought for 60$ and for it to have so many good reviews this stuff has to work. So I took the plunge and I see no difference with my facial hair than I did last month. I was taking 3 capsules before dinner every night for around 21-24 days. Right around the time I received the product and started taking it I started having cluster headaches. Along the right side of my temple the pain ran all the way to the back of my jaw and neck. I was take ibuprofen and Tylenol around every 8 hours. I couldn’t live with out it. Also taking some sinus meds to. It had just started cooling off so I figured change in weather and pressure had my sinuses messed up. So I tolerated this for about 3 weeks then 3 days ago I woke up with the worst of all headaches. I ran to the bathroom just fumbling for some ibuprofen so I took it and within the hour the pain had subsided. The next more woke up with the same headache. So what gives. I look up and I’m not the only one with this issue. Several other people had headaches while using. I’ve been off 2 days now. Yesterday a mild headache but today I feel better than I’ve felt in a month. Not even the slightest whiff of a headache. Just be careful taking this stuff. Not only does it not work, it’s expensive and it causes a real headache. I see zero to little change with the product. It’s not worth the headaches for a few more whiskers on your face. The item arrived in a simple Amazon white bubble-wrap mailer; this was fine due to the Beard Grow XL being in a firm/hard plastic supplement bottle and not prone to breaking. The supplements were sealed with plastic around the cap; after opening the cap, there’s an additional cover to peel away, along with some cotton in the container…all standard for supplements and vitamins. Upon opening the packaging, there is an odor to the supplements; this is nothing too strong, and smells somewhat fruity, but this is not an issue for me. Typically, some supplements have slight smells such as this, so it was not a problem or a turn off. Upon ordering this product, I was clean shaven, and when it arrived four days later, I had some pretty thick hair growth. For writing this review I wanted to be able to compare the hair growth afterwards to what I normally have on my face, and then compare the growth rate and feel of the hair AFTER trying out the product. Two Weeks Later: So, after shaving on the day the product arrived, I gave this product two full weeks to see if there were any noticeable changes. If not, I would have given the product two MORE weeks. However, after the two full weeks, there WERE notable changes, so I wanted to post this review sooner rather than later. Note: The bottle contains 90 capsules, and directions call for three capsules per day. Before I discuss the changes I experienced, I want to share what is written on the bottle itself: “Beard grow XL is specially formulated to provide your body with the nutrients it needs to maximize natural beard growth. Achieve a better and fuller beard within weeks.” Noticeable changes: The main change that I noticed was that the beard growth was notably softer than what my facial hair typically is. The supplements did not cause my beard to grow any faster than it typically does; however, the bottle never specifically states any given speed involved. That being said, I was not concerned with speedier growth here, but just some type of noted change. That change, as previously stated, was that the facial hair was softer. I am not a dietician or a nutritionist, so I am not sure if the specific ingredients here were contributing to such a change, but my diet did not deviate from the norm while I was using this product; meaning, I ate what I normally ate throughout this initial trial period for the Beard Growth XL. The supplements did not have a distinct taste, other than being of a usual taste associated with pills, somewhat like plain oatmeal. The supplement was taken once a day, three capsules at a time, with my dinner. The directions do not state a particular time to take the capsules, just “three capsules once a day with food”. The capsules did not affect my stomach at all, and I never had any digestion issues whatsoever.
