I actually bought these for my husband but the width was not wide it was narrow for his feet, so I tried these shoes for myself since my sneaks were not supportive enough for work. I love the comfort these boots shoe give to my feet and overall body. I suffer with back problems and being on my feet for a certain period of time leaves me almost incapacitated to where I’m dragging myself to keep going forward to perform my job. I wear these boots shoe when I know I am going to be on my feet for longer than expected and can move for hours without any issues with my feet, legs and body movements. Very supportive and true to fit. I took a chance on ordering the boots shoe for my husband even though I knew he was a wide fit but that’s ok I took them for myself and you can’t even tell they are mens boots shoe, I think these can be for either gender, but that’s my opinion you judge for yourself. I wear a size 10 and these shoes fit true to size. They are relatively light weight and hold up to all kinds of environments. We hike about 3 miles everyday we can up a mountain and these shoes have held up very well. They were comfortable from the moment I put them on.
