Color me impressed. I love these pastel pencils. So far, I tried these on cheap, dark, Canson paper - which is a great test. I can’t wait to try them on something with more tooth. Like a nice gritty UART or some Pastelmat. I have many brands of pastel pencils and I can tell that these will be some of my favorites. Medium denseness. Somewhere between a Pitt and a Carbothello. They sharpen beautifully. Great assortment of vibrant colors with a lot of pigment. The case is a nice touch, too. I usually lump all of my new pencils into their respective color groups, but I might keep these separate from my others for a while, just because they are so fun to work with.
