I'm 64 and try to fight my wrinkles, until recently I used the Revlon products and always felt guilty about them not being cruelty free. I thought I would give this stuff a try as my research told me it was as good as any expensive over the counter cream (full of vitamin A that the retinol creams boast of). I also found during my research that most "natural" products included witch hazel. There's a reason for that; It tightens the skin and helps stop pores from clogging. Rose hip oil, being an oil, clogs the pores, I have combination skin and that has always made me give up before when trying natural things on my face. So here's what I did this time. After two months of washing with Burt's Bees foaming face wash (I've been using that for years I highly recommend it), followed by CLAR.I.TY, a cruelty free salicylic acid and hemp seed oil facial cleanser (avoiding my eyes!) then after drying, toning with witch hazel, (using a cotton ball and concentrating around the eyelids, it does tighten them) and using the Rose hip oil, my skin looks better than it has for years. It's worth the extra steps, and I no longer need all the expensive oils and unguents I had been using. Read more
