O sabor do café é muuuito melhor que o da máquina Gaggia que tive antes - e para mim esse é o critério mais importante. Comprei o modelo mais simples da DeLonghi por não saber se daria certo, então faltam alguns controles mais precisos, luzinhas e monitores, mas ela faz o que a Gaggia faz. Só se gasta um pouco mais de tempo acertando o sabor do café ao seu gosto, mas depois que a máquina está customizada, não é preciso mais mexer. Achei o sistema de água mais chatinho: desencaixa-se um reservatório lateral, que é fino, para acessar o bocal. Melhor encher uma jarra com água para reabastecer o reservatório, pois o seu formato quase pede que ele escorregue das mãos conforme o peso da água vai crescendo. O abastecimento dos grãos de café é simples, assim como a retirada da bandeja para escoar a água que se acumula nela e a borra de café. O processo de aquecimento da água é rápido, mas a máquina despeja um volume de água razoável, por isso sempre coloco um recipiente sob a saída. Great product and not common in Canada. Fill it with water and beans, press the button and it makes you a fresh cup that tastes way better than any drip machine. Maintenance and operation is very easy. Instructions are helpful. Make sure vendor sells you a machine that can handle Canadian/USA 120 W vs Europe's 220W. Sono un amante del caffè e ho anche lavorato per una azienda di caffè in produzione. E' veramente difficile trovare una macchina del caffè che si avvicini a quello dei bar. Questa ci riesce. Più che altro per la grammatura. E' una delle poche in grado di macinare almeno e dico almeno 6-7 grammi di caffè con una macinatura fine. Da considerare che un espresso da bar utilizza 7-9 grammi di caffè per tazzina. La caldaia e la pressione sono adeguate. La macchina si avvicina al professionale. Fa un ciclo di pulizia degli erogatori ogni volta che si accende e si spegne, pertanto però consuma anche tanta acqua. E' una macchina che ha bisogno di una piccola manutenzione costante, pulizia del gruppo macinatura, rimozione cassetto fondi e cicli di decalcificazione ogni circa 2 mesi. Ma se siete amanti del caffè vero è una macchina abbastanza valida. Certo ha un costo importante ed è piuttosto "noiosa" da pulire e manutenzionare, però si risparmia dopo nell'acquisto del caffè perchè comunque il chicco in proporzione al macinato o alle capsule costa meno ed è sicuramente migliore di qualità poichè non perde tutti quei sapori che perde nel momento in cui viene macinato e non estruso immediatamente. Tanto è vero che il macinato, anche nelle capsule viene azotato per la conservazione mentre nella busta dei chicchi in alcuni tipi di caffè viene effettuato un piccolo forellino per fare entrate aria e continuare la "fermentazione". Oltre il fatto che non si paga la confezione come nel caso delle capsule con pirottino e non si hanno scarti di plastica o tetrapack... quindi anche più ecologica. Insomma è una macchina buona per chi ama il caffè e vuole avvicinarsi a quello da bar. La sconsiglio a chi " è pigro" e non ha voglia di fare cicli di pulizia, aggiungere tanta acqua e spesso e fare alcun tipo di manutenzione. In quel caso se non si cerca una grande qualità basta una delle classiche macchinette a capsule, più semplici e facili. La consiglio a chi invece desidera un caffè molto forte, simile, non uguale a quello del bar. Naturalmente poi il marchio di caffè fà la differenza ma questi sono gusti personali. Consiglio di impostare la macinatura al livello di finezza massimo e anche la grammatura al massimo per avere un caffè più stretto e forte ed avere un aroma più simile al caffè da bar. Unica pecca... lo scalda tazzine superiore è pressochè inutile. Non scalda niente anche perchè non è elettrico prende solo un minimo di calore indirettamente dalla caldaia. Quindi è inutile. In inverno è più facile aprire l'erogatore del vapore e preriscaldare la tazzina. Read more
