I have low vision so I've searched extensively on Amazon for the boldest of the bold pens and have landed upon the Zebra F-301 1.6mm and the BIC Velocity 1.6mm as the boldest pens available. I've used both at work for the last 3 months and have found that the BIC writes smoother on paper and isn't as "scratchy" as the Zebra (I don't want to give you the impression that the zebra is scratchy in general way in relation to the majority of pens, it's a really, really great pen, just in comparison to the BIC is a little more scratchy). Also, the BIC is slightly but noticeably bolder than the zebra despite both being 1.6mm. The Zebra's metal construction and look is much better than the BIC's plastic, they're just really nice, professional looking pens, they look great in the shirt pocket and look and feel like they would cost much more than they in fact do. The BIC's are cheap plastic, not "professional" looking, but hey, for my purposes as someone who needs to write fast and with a bold line, they are preferred. This is a great broad point pen. Coming in a close 2nd to my favourite- Schneider's Slider Rave.The F301 is an awesome pen, looks really smart & writes super smoothly.Personally I prefer the way the Schneider feels in my hand but the zebra looks better & is a slimmer pen for those who prefer that.. It's great value for the price as well & it looks great on my orbit key nest which is my EDC. Read more
