Très bon casque, je l'utilise avec un Soundblaster G6 x et il fonctionne parfaitement. On entend vraiment tous les instruments ou les chanteurs dans une chanson, ce qui permet de trouver directement le problème. Pour les jeux, c'est aussi très bien, l'audio 3d fonctionne, mais je recommanderais un autre casque pour les jeux uniquement. Comme il existe de meilleurs casques avec une meilleure localisation, l'avantage de ce casque est que les bruits de pas ou les bruits de feuilles et le vent sont très bien mis en évidence. Ce qui peut être utile mais aussi parfois très gênant, mais avec le Soundblaster G6 x on peut le régler parfaitement. Il faut absolument choisir la variante de 600 ohms, car elle est tout simplement meilleure du point de vue sonore. Pour les personnes qui n'ont pas besoin d'acheter un amplificateur supplémentaire, je recommande vivement le 900 pro x, qu'un de mes amis utilise et dont il est également très satisfait. Modello 32 Ohm. Le ho collegate per un periodo iniziale all'uscita cuffia della scheda audio del PC, in seguito all'uscita di un iFi Zen Dac 3 (ultima edizione), in entrambi i casi soddisfattissimo. Il PC non consentiva di ascoltarle ad altissimo volume ma sufficiente per un uso standard, il suono su mio PC (modello recente ed high-end) è un po' più morbido e leggermente meno "veloce", con un po' meno impatto e un tantino meno controllo sui bassi, ma davvero godibile. Con il Zen Dac 3 invece (229 euro su Amazon) combinazione spettacolare, almeno per i miei gusti. In entrambi i casi, alti dettagliati e luminosi, medi controllati e mai invasivi, bassi ben presenti, articolati (meno sul pc) e vellutati (sempre), un suono musicale e coinvolgente. Con l'ampli del Zen Dac 3: ++energia e sound stage eccellenti, bassi ben articolati. Inoltre con il Bass Boost del DAC, anche nei brani più deboli o mal registrati incentrati solo sui medi, la combinazione tra timbro del DAC e queste cuffie produce un effetto loudness che fornisce altezza e profondità alla musica (Il Bass Boost del Zen Dac 3 è davvero ben progettato, in quanto non modifica le altre frequenze e non sottrae energia a medi e alti, notevole). Provate anche su Smartphone Xiaomi da 250 Euro (Android): volume ottimo per il livello di potenza di uno smartphone da battaglia, garantisce ascolti dettagliati, con grande aria e ottimo sound stage. Nel mio caso trovo il Confort di queste cuffie davvero buono, al pari di Sennheiser dal prezzo doppio, se non meglio a livello di morbidezza e sensazione del tessuto sulla pelle. Ho le orecchie (e testa) grandi eppure ci stanno dentro i PAD. Le uso per lunghe sedute di audio-conferenza sul lavoro, o mentre sono al PC per ascoltare la musica anche un paio di ore di seguito, e finora sono state le cuiffie hi-fi, con bassi comparabili, della cui presenza in testa e sulle orecchie mi sono infastidito meno. Non sono cuffie a pressione zero ovviamente, premono il giusto (per creare il corretto isolamento, visto che già sono open-back, altrimenti perderesti completamente i bassi) ma senza far venire la voglia di toglierle dopo 5 minuti. Se avete la testa davvero grande chiaramente imprimeranno una certa pressione, e per alcuni potrebbe risultare un po' fastidioso, ma ci deve essere un compromesso. Per chi è in questa situazione suggerisco una cuffia Closed-Back che stringa pochissimo, occhio però che se volete il comfort la cuffia dovrà avere PAD grandi che staranno ovviamente intorno alle vostre orecchie e non sopra, pertanto senza la minima pressione laterale una cuffia del genere tenederà a scendere per la forza di gravità e a poggiarsi sulla parte alta del vostro padiglione auricolare, generandovi un fastidio notevole in molti casi; ciò può essere attenuato regolando l'altezza della lunetta superiore in modo tale che vi scarichi il peso sul cranio invece che sulla parte alta del padiglione auricolare, pertanto dovrà essere una closed-back regolabile in altezza con una buona escursione verticale. Chiaramente il confort di una cuffia è davvero un parametro individuale, pertanto prendete il dato con le pinze. Queste cuffie non spingono sulla testa come le 990 PRO, quindi avrete una "giusta" compressione tale da garantirvi ottimi bassi senza percepire particolare fatica o dolore. Non aspettatevi la sensazione di una cuffia over-ear da 10 grammi, sebbene il peso di queste cuffie sia davvero basso in relazione alla qualità costruttiva, alla dimensione e all'abbondanza di materiali. Ottima ingegnerizzazione. Le DT990 Edition sono costruite come un Tank, il tessuto dei PAD e quello della lunetta superiore sono di una qualità da cuffie dal costo superiore, con alcuni marchi vi serviranno anche più di 300€ per avere la stessa qualità. Il cavo non si sgancia dalle cuffie ma almeno a me questo non crea problemi, e come bonus nel mio caso è abbastanza lungo da poter alzarsi e muoversi nelle vicinanze del PC ma non troppo per diventare una matassa. Per i critici dei cavi lunghi: basta arrotolarlo leggermente intorno ad qualsiasi oggetto accanto al PC o allo stereo per ottenere la lunghezza desiderata affinché non finisca sotto le rotelle di una sedia da ufficio o sotto i piedi. Mi è capitato una volta sola che finisse sotto una rotella della sedia, ed il cavo è così robusto che neanche si è scalfito (e peso quasi 100Kg). Il suono si sente anche da fuori delle cuffie; per i critici del suono che si sente all'esterno, che non vogliono disturbare chi sta vicino: Sono cuffie semi-open back, è normale che un po' di suono esca da cuffie aperte. Se siete sempre in compagnia di un vicino di postazione che ha bisogno di silenzio, come ad esempio in ufficio, vi suggerisco di comprare cuffie closed-back, queste non sono per voi. Se invece ascoltate la musica per conto vostro consiglio vivamente a chi abbia da spendere intorno ai 150 euro di provare questi gioiellini. Dovreste chiaramente amare questo timbro, è un suono divertente, con alti un po' più aperti, dettagliati, cristallini e divertenti, bassi profondi e morbidi, ma mai fastidiosi. La combinazione con l'iFi Zen Dac 3 per i miei gusti è ottima, naturalmente se volete "tirare" al massimo il volume di questo DAC consiglio la versione delle DT990 Edition da 250 ohm (non da 32 ohm), ma con 250 ohm se poi vorrete collegarvi qualche volta diretti ad un PC o ad uno smartphone potreste sperimentare un volume troppo debole. A 155 euro secondo me difficilmente troverete qualcosa di meglio. Confermato il motivo per cui di questa cuffia Beyer vende una quantità immensa di esemplari. Caldamente consigliata a chi ama divertirsi con la musica, se invece siete alla ricerca di una cuffia con una risposta totalmente flat e preferite annoiarvi, evitatela a tutti costi! :) Read more

Let me start by saying that I have the DT770 PRO , I’ve had them for a year and I love them! ( great for audio editing, video, monitoring, etc.) However, when it comes to home audio, they suck! Enter the DT990 Edition… First impressions: > There are 2 metal wings on the headband, I don’t think even Beyerdynamic knows what they are for. Some people have cut their fingers on them, others think that it keeps the pleather headband padding down in position. > The included bulky as heck case is also made of pleather (yes, plastic). The original vintage case was made of 100% real leather. Not this one, Beyerdynamic has cut corners here… > The AL yoke is very loose compared to the DT770. The spring metal headband is linked to the yoke via the plastic sliders. So, if you move it a little too fast you’ll hear a loud pop (metal agains metal). Not sure this was an intended “feature”…. As for sound quality compared to the DT770, it is night and day! The comfort level is also great… the DT770 , you might be able to wear it for 1 hour before wanting to let your ears breathe again. As for the DT990, you can wear them comfortably for 2-3 hours no problems. My only beef is the 3 meters of straight cable, I could have done well with just coiled cable… According to Beyerdynamic, the DT990 Edition has a 2 year warranty with the seller (that would be Amazon) includes part replacement and service. Overall, Good Buy! UPDATE: Just like all other Beyerdynamic headsets, these are full user upgradable/ all parts are replaceable too… So, I removed the metal wings from the plastic sliders and it works great. It feels more secure too… I’m also replacing the ziplock style headband padding with a leather headband that has 4 metal snaps… UPDATE 2: Since I bought them I've had an issue with the sliders on both sides, they do not keep the setting you set them on, once you take them off the yoke moves back to "1". I contacted Beyerdynamic and they came to the conclusion that the sliders were worn out. (That said I bought these from Amazon's Warehouse deals) I was told these have a 2 year warranty which is carried out by the seller of their products (Amazon). Since, these headphones are "upgradeable" and "sustainable"... Beyerdynamic asked me to contact the seller and ask for a "Slider repair kit." Which, I can replace by myself at home, no need for a technician. Amazon told me they can't get replacement parts (even though their support page says otherwise.) So, to get warranty service from Beyerdynamic, I have to ship out these headphones to either Germany or the USA. IF I just want the parts and pay out of my own pocket the repair comes out to ~$80... So much for 2 year warranty, if Amazon is not willing to keep it... Read more
