This was my first time purchasing AmeriColor dyes. Why did I wait so long? I prefer these to the Wilton gel coloring. They come in a squeeze bottle and its so much easier than using a knife or toothpick to scoop up the Wilton gel colors. I bought this earth tone pallet to make a succulent cake. They worked really well and compliment each other for mixing and making more unique colors. I'll definitely buy this brand again. Read more

These are great quality gels. They seem very condensed, which makes a little gel go a long way. The colors are very strong and true to the sticker color on their lids. If you're looking for a set of all of the basic/most used colors, this probably isn't the set for you. I mistakenly thought a set of 12 would have them, like if you buy a set of colored pencils. That was my fault, but thought I'd mention it if you're not a read-all-the-fine-print kind of person like I am. They mix really well, too. I used them to water color paint on cookies. I used vodka instead of water to dilute the gel as not to dissolve the icing when painting, so I can't speak as to how it works when diluted with water. However, I can say that they all kept their color very well when diluted, which is important specifically with the white. Read more
