Especially for the special problems of the interim period, dentists recommend Protefix adhesive pads for lower and upper jaw prostheses for underfeeding in the resulting cavities. The adhesive pads are made of fine, palate-friendly non-woven fabric, which contains sodium alginate and additionally supports the adhesive force after a short moistening. The cushions offer effective protection against pressure points and inflammation. In addition to their importance in interim prostheses, they have also proven themselves in strong jaw regression - especially in the lower jaw - if it is very narrow or strongly flattened.
