These are my first pair of steel toe boots. I have been wearing steel toe safety shoes for many years. The break-in period for the boots was very short. Wore them for ~30 minutes one day in the shop. The uppers were a little stiff in the back. Next day; 10-minutes into walking, the upper stiffness was not noticeable. Walking surfaces included cement, asphalt and hard-packed dirt. Very comfortable. So far, I have worn these boots for just over 4-hours without issues. They are well made; the quality (form-fit-function) is excellent. Here is a caveat: For me, I will wear these boots sporadically; not daily. Please keep that last comment in mind. Next, I will wear them in a rock quarry for ~4-hours. These boots were great for me thos past winter. The are very sturdy and offer good protection from work hazards. The insulation was great for the Ontario winter. These will be going away now until next year as they are too insulated to be worn in the summer. That is just somthing to be aware of if you are considering these. It's best to have a summer and winter pair anyways, in my opinion. Read more
