Ich bekam vor fünf Monaten periorale Dermatitis ohne am Anfang zu wissen, was es war. Ich habe viel ausprobiert, nichts half. Ich war beim Hautarzt, der mir eine antibiotische Salbe verschrieb, mit dem Hinweis, ich müsse bei dieser Erkrankung sehr viel Geduld mitbringen. Ich habe die Salbe tapfer benutzt, allerdings verschlimmerte die das Hautbild derartig, dass ich mich kaum noch unter Leute traute. Das war der Zeitpunkt, an dem ich sprichwörtlich nach jedem Strohhalm gegriffen hätte. Nachdem ich im Netz soviel Tolles über Cicalfate gelesen hatte, beschloss ich, es einfach zu probieren. Was soll ich groß sagen: nach jetzt zwei Wochen Anwendung (einmal morgens, einmal abends dünn auftragen) ist alles so gut wie verschwunden! Die erste deutliche Besserung merkte ich sogar schon am nächsten Tag. Ergänzend möchte ich hinzu fügen, dass ich natürlich auf alle anderen Kosmetika, Makeup, Cremes, ja sogar Seife verzichtet habe. Die Creme war meine Rettung. Die ist jeden Cent wert. Ich kann mir auch vorstellen, dass sie gut bei anderen entzündlichen Hauterkrankungen hilft. Habe auch das Thermalwasserspray von Avene gekauft für zwischendurch. Beides zusammen (Spray und Cicalfate) hat 20,-€ gekostet und ich bin ein monatelanges Leiden los geworden. Read more

I should have taken many of this products reviews seriously but thought I would give it a shot. I had a chemical peel 8 days ago, and the medi spa who performed my peel highly recommended this cream. I was hesitant by not only the reviews but also the price. I decided to order it instead. The product came in 2 days and I was so excited to begin using it. After opening it, the tube began spewing liquid without the cream. I shook the tube and squeezed it back and forth with the cap on and still, the liquid would not combine with the cream. The cream can still be used, but after smearing a sparingly sized amount of cream upon my face, my husband looked at me and said, "wow, your face is all white." Whether this outcome is normal or not, I don't quite know. I have contacted Amazon and requested a refund and replacement. I am willing to give this product a second try in hopes my tube was just a fluke. Update: I was given a new tube and decided to give it another try. I squeezed a majority of the water out, put the cap back on, and placed the tube inside a jar filled with hot water. I let the tube sit in the hot water overnight. The next morning I opened the cap and the cream had mixed perfectly! I now use it nightly mixed with a small amount of retinol cream and it is the best. I still feel it might be too greasy for Daytime wear or humid climates but it is fantastic for the use of a night cream! I will be ordering it again! Read more
